Has anyone managed to fix their transatlantic award yet?? Does anyone know if this this going to be fixed next update? Thanks, trying to get all the awards (29/36 so far) but it's so discouraging having the transatlantic award not working.
Transatlantic award still broken. They might fix it on the next update. Once is fixed I'm sure you will complete it right away.
Because of the way Game Center works we do not cache the progress just the completed achievements. Because of this the counts might be off but once you complete it it should update. It has been fixed however if you completed it before the update the game may never let Game Center know. You can reset your awards in the settings screen and it should work or you can wait and in the next update we will try to have something to catch this case.
Can someone gift you a plane before you "unlock" it? If so, can you fly it right away or will it sit in hangar till you reach level?
I was thinking a potential way to deal with the global events and toucharcade winning all the time is that the score for the flight crew is based on say the top 200 of each crew, that way it doesn't matter if a flight crew has 500 or 1,000 crew members. The winner will be based on activity. Even if you aren't in the top 200 for a flight crew you will still win the prize as long as you complete 5 jobs for the particular event. Just a thought
Morning. so far, this has been the largest event I have ever taken place in. This is the first time fr any event I have placed somewhere in the Top 100 between 40 and 32, done 1k jobs, received enough mystery parts to build five blimps, and receive the prize before the event is over. First time for everything. Now, when the Concorde comes out, its over. Ill be back in the bottom ranks. But still, good challenge.
Depends on your level and what you're trying to accomplish. Pearjets and Aeroeagles are the firsts that can do it. Once you get past those, it just depends on your strategy. I haven't bothered to build one yet, but I think it would be hard for any route not to be profitable with the blimp. I'm planning to replace a lot of my short-route feeders with them. Have you had issues with it or just curious?
Guidance Hey guys, So it's been a while since I posted and played. Here is where I am at right now and I was looking for some general tips on what to do next with my routes and planes. Airports: Chicago New York Lima San Paulo Rio De Janerio London Paris Planes: Birchcraft-M x3 Birchcraft-P x2 Birchcraft-C x2 Sea Knight Kangaroo-M Aeroeagle-M Aeroeagle-P Aeroeagle-C Any Input would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks good! You're on the right track keeping only Class 1 (red) cities. Looks like your main hubs form a triangle with NY, London & Rio. You can easily expand to Asia (Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo) from either London or Rio, depending on which way you want to go. London <> Istanbul/Tehran <> Asia red cities. Rio <> Kinshasa <> Mumbai <> Asia red cities. As you upgrade your planes, be sure to keep some of your class 1 & class 2 planes around (in the hangar) for Flight Crew events in those cities. Birchcraft, Kangaroo, and Sea Knight are good choices for these events.
http://pocketplaneswiki.com/Planes I'm kind of excited about putting them into action. Their efficiency is off the charts and still have great range for a class 1. Just sucks they can't make the LA->NY trip. Though that might be a little too slow for my patience, anyway. Heh
Has anyone flown the blimp? Just curious ... Has anyone flown the blimp? Wondering what flight times and profit y'all are making off of it.
The blimp is great it costs nothing to operate big range for class 1 good for players that don't check that often
The Blimp is fantastic, it's essentially free to fly and sooooo slow, it gives you a chance to put your phone away for a while. I'm planning to get as many as possible and use them to run all my events jobs from now on and leave all my Sequoias on the usual routes for income.
The Top 8 are all over 3100 jobs. #9 and #10 are just a hair under 3000 jobs. I wonder what the total number will be (for the Top 10) in another 4 days when the event is over.
I like the sound of that. I'm transitioning my game toward checking in less frequently. Now I just need to free up some plane slots.
