I'm currently sitting at #6 with 1,026. London happens to be the center of my current airport configuration, so I send jobs to it as quickly as I can fill my planes. I've already completed 2 blimps from mystery crates. With more than 5 days left, I expect to complete quite a few more before the event is over.

What do you guys do for aircraft organization? I always put the prefix PA(##) for passenger aircraft, CA(##) for cargo, and CM(##) for Mixed.

I've converted all of my aircraft to M class now. I have 12 Aeroeagles, 8 Cyclones and 1 Cloudliner. I simply name mine the name of the aircraft (CYCLN, CLOUD, AE) so I can tell from the overhead map where all of my planes are. I have broken my Aeroeagle fleet into US (AE US) planes and European (AE EU) planes, with London as the center of my hub, so I make sure that the US Aeroeagles stay in the US, filling layovers in New York. In Europe/Asia, Tehran is my layover city, so I keep half of my Aeroeagle fleet in Europe.

I had a similar organizational system, but it broke down for the London event. All of my organizational structures break down for events with special aircraft.

I made an account on here just to say that Pezmage's Sequoias strategy is pure genius. I started it with Aeroeagles and levels 16-22 went by RIDICULOUSLY fast.

The game is so much more fun without having to worry about micromanaging all those feeders and worrying about going too much into the negatives. It's simple, hassle-free and insanely profitable. I don't really see myself switching off this strategy at any point, just gonna finish upgrading everything and then add more plane slots.

I was trying out the Pez Method using Aeroeagles and it worked GREAT for the playing style I need (less frequent check-ins, less micromanaging). Unfortunately, this all went out the window when the London event started. :-/
I'm in the process of converting Aeroeagles to Sequoias so I can check in even less frequently.

    Built an airport in Kabul

What a n00b. Can't get any planes over there and wasted all my bux! Back to the grind with the West Coast trips...

What is the first airport you guys have built with success?

I started in the American west coast, so I expanded eastward. Once I was satisfied with that (constant SFO&LAX flights to NYC and Boston), I bought Mexico city, Lima, and Santiago when I got long range crafts. Expanded to Honolulu soon after, then at around rank 15, started transatlantic flights, and flights to Moscow.

Kabul is quite a jump eastward from the West Coast/USA. Most people expand across the Atlantic from NY/Boston to London/Paris/Madrid, depending on which planes they have. A fully range upgraded Pearjet will take you from NY to London.

Use this to help you figure out whether your planes can make it from Point A to Point B:

Thanks this is really helpful. Will build out from the West Coast. Although seems to be a lot of pilling looking to go to Kabul! Looks like they'll need to wait for awhile..
