Sorry, a question - when looking at the global event prizes, the top 10 gets a blimp + 10 bux (using the current event as an example). Are we talking about top 10 rank as a flight crew (competing against all other flight crews), or top 10 as an individual (competing against all other players)?
Top 10 as a flight crew, toucharcade has always been #1. You have to complete a minimum of 5 jobs as part of the flight crew to get the prize though.
Thanks! I'm not one of the people who only completes the bare minimum though. Also, I would be shocked if any intermediate player didn't have London as one of their cities.
London and a blimp as a prize has got to mean another big number event. Thoughts on possible uses for the blimp? Or is it like the starship?
I like it better. For those unhappy with the profitability of the starship. A little hint for the current event London<-->Paris in the starship pulls a small profit.
Still No Prize for Goose Bay event I received the Bux prize for this last event just fine but I still have not received the Huey part and Bux from the Goose Bay event. I have posted this here and on get satisfaction several times but still have not gotten any response. I know NimbleTim checks this forum. Please help with this issue. Game ID is NB:: DTYCDAX Thanks
I never really cared about profitability before. And now I have 1 million coins, over 1000 buxs, and no real needs that require spending them. So my planes fly where I want them even at a loss. Just curious as to what people see the blimp being used for.
Showing as received. Check your parts screen. Also do you share a Game Center or Apple ID with anyone? It has good range so it can make it to any airport and is slow for people that don't like to check in more than a couple times a day. Plus it is really cheap to fly (not as cheap as the hot air ballon) so it is nearly imposible to not pull a profit.
I was really hopeful that there would be an Olympics event in PocketPlanes so thanks for celebrating it! Just wondering if Nimblebit have taken the LOCOG rules for use of the official Olympic branding terms like London, 2012 and Games into account for the latest event. From the news reports recently I have heard that they are really cracking down on unauthorised use.
Don't think anyone from Nimblebit's going to be able to answer this, I heard they're all locked up in the Tower of London
