Can you guys give me some tips please, I am kinda stuck in the game Level 12 almost level 13. Having 9 planes 2 Pearjets and 7 kangoroos Flying on Barcalona, Madrid, Paris, London, Berlin and New York Pearjets are pendeling between NY and most of the time Berlin. Kangoroos are doing random routes in Europe. I dont know what to do next. Can somone please give me some tips? Oh and is the spaceship worth the 14 bux to use and whats the best way for it?
This is the same as me, I am 12 just about to go onto 13. However I don't have pearjets I only have; 3 birchcraft-P's, 1 Airvan, 2 Wallabys, 1 Mohawk and a navigator. I know I am not very advanced as I don't have any friends who play this game and can send me parts and planes. I currently have my main hub as berlin/Paris and fly to Moscow, Cairo and istanbul with my Birchcraft's. I know this isn't ideal but does anybody have any tips/ things I can change to help me progress in the game.
i'm getting pretty frustrated with this game, it seems like its not made for players that are already at a high level.. I'm currently level 37, running 14 Cyclone (max upgrade for range) and 7 aeroeagle (max upgrade in everything) and 1 sea kinght . My daily rev was 1.9 million coins when i was around level 34, running mostly aeroeagle with very little CYclone. Currently I'm running Honolulu, La, NY (Hub in N.A), Instabull, Xian (Hub in asia), Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo It seems like now that I progressed to bigger planes, my daily rev plummeted. Anyone in the same boat as me? recommendations what to do next? i'd like to make the cyclones work, but it just seems like mass aeroeagle did the trick...
Pearjet will do (with max range), but i recommend saving up for Aeroeagle since its much more cost efficient.
Just hold down until it clicks and it uploads everything. Opening ANY city can trigger it. We never really got that high in levels since we had to reset our games a lot to test out changes. Plus we want to make sure the early levels work well so players can progress well through them. We will probably be adding more higher level content and features in future updates. But since have been playing for a while with pretty much all the planes unlocked what would you like to see at level 30+.
Hey Nimblebit, I'm encountering several bugs. Where the passengers are sitting on top of each other despite a seat being available. It happens with the cargo as well, I may have two cargoes on board but it only shows one. Pretty funny but suggestive. xD And when using the new "hold to load all same destinations feature", it doesn't respect the planes capacity. On a 2c/2p airplane, it loads 3p/1c and so forth. In this case it loaded an extra passenger despite the aircraft not having room for them.
My BIGGEST issue is the fact that as i increase in level, i NEED to use LESS and LESS airports in order to get enough jobs. Its really weird how its easier for me to fill my planes with less airports. It should be the other way around? or by the very least, getting more and more airports shouldnt result in decreased jobs for each airport.. It'd be nice to have 20 or so airports open allover the world and not having the job count for each airport decreased. To make up for jobs im forced to open very few airports
The solution I had for that is to add one Seq-C and one Seq-P to the route. When one city gets way lopsided in people or cargo they skim them off and level things out. I haven't had a problem yet where I couldn't get anything done due to screwed up layover pools yet using the C and P.
How are they utilized? Do they run alongside the other Sequoias or sit at the transfer cities and wait? I do have a P and a C which I have pulled for the latest event in order to get more Kangaroos to Goosebay.
They're a Sequoia C and a Sequoia P an they just run the route like any other plane. If there aren't enough boxes/people on the side they're on I'll have them wait, or if they're needed on the other side I'll load up as much as I can to reduce the cost of flight and send them to that side.
Okay, good to know. I had a Sequoia C and P but I had them stationed one at each end rather than in the normal rotation. I spent a lot of bux on two Cloudliners, a P and a C that I plan to put into use at some point but I realized I would need upgrades which I now need to save bux for. Also want to try and expand to 20 planes so I can add the Cloudliners without having to pull planes. The decrease in bux jobs really comes and the wrong time.
Those Cloudliners are ~expensive~ I totally regret buying the ones that I did. I think I have... 8? total... 4 built, 4 just in parts still. I suppose I could use them as trade bait, get 3 seqs for each one if I really wanted to but I'm not really big on trading.
I only have one Seq passenger running in four cities. I was hoping to do more bux jobs for a Cargo and Mixed. Its a one hour and eighteen minute trip from Rio > Kinshasa > Bangalore > Manila. I dont have enough bux to actually buy another Seq part without risk of a long awaited bux job that NimbleBit reduced to rare. I cant upgrade either. Im down to 26 bux. Help me, please. #BringBackBux
I feel like I'm at the same point. I'm at level 34 and have completed almost all the achievements (except I have to re-do Punta Arenas, Barrow, Tiksi, Nome-Wellington, etc. a second time because I had to reset achievements to fix some other bugs, grr...) It feels like the only things left to do are chase the 45,000 jobs to complete all individual events, and keep an eye on global events so that I can collect the remaining rare aircraft (although there is no achievement for a completed Airpedia). I don't have any concrete solutions on how else to make the game compelling at higher levels, but I think part of the problem is that the level system is meaningless after a while. It doesn't scale with the game beyond about the teens. The reward for collecting a few million XP is only 3 bux, and the ability to open another airport--but there really doesn't seem to be any advantage to opening more airports. (It seems to be the other way around: I got better results when I started closing airports...) I couldn't imagine how fragmented the job lists would look like if I had a couple of hundred airports open! And serving them would require many, many more planes than you could keep in the air at one time. But really, that should be the goal for players to continue the game longer: we should be able to keep adding cities and planes to eventually blanket the world. The game mechanics of managing individual planes and people works great at the beginning, but I don't think it scales beyond about a month's play time.
Pezmage, I'm trying to use your method with the Asia to south America route, and I don't need a range upgrade to make it from rio to Kinshasa. I read you did. It doesn't make sense. I don't have Lima yet so maybe that's why I don't need it yet?
That is why I only bought two. A P and a C. Wand to have three distinct routes. These two will run the one route back and forth. No real intention of getting more than the two.
Using Tiny Tower as a comparison point - I think it took me something like 5 or 6 months to get all of the currently available floors in Tiny Tower. I checked in fairly regularly at the start, did a bunch of elevator stuff, once I got to about 100 floors though I started checking in once or twice a day and still was able to build 5 floors every week or so. I felt like there was still something to see since I would be building new floors, and I was always burning bux to try to get dream jobs on every floor (which I was able to do). In Pocket Planes I feel like I've seen and done everything at this point. I'll be level 40 by the end of the day. I've had all sorts of fun figuring out and executing different plans. I think I've changed my routes and set ups completely at least once a week since the game released. I had tons of fun writing stupid-long posts outlining these methods for the thread here. But now I've settled into a very easy-to-use, very mellow method of play that let's me just check in every now and then and still succeed. But I'm not sure what I'm building towards anymore. More plane slots, sure, I'm at 23 right now, will have 24 by this evening or tomorrow. Eventually I'll hit a critical mass on my current route and won't be able to add more Sequoias to it, but I don't see that happening for a loooong time. I imagine I'll have to be flying 40+ planes before it starts gumming up. Then what? Make an Asia to North America route with Sequoias? Istanbul and London being my bottle necks? Sure. The other big one is that there's no benefit to opening airports. The majority of class 3 airports are "dead ends" that would require me to run way too many class 1 or Class 2 planes to fill if I wanted to feed to them and make them a good use of time. And I just can't justify using smaller planes since plane slots are so valuable now and I can make all of my slots profitable using my sequoias route. Earlier this week I tried to add 2 cloudliners in a Paris/Sao Paulo route. These two Cloudliners required two sequoias to feed them. With 4 sequoias I can make 28k/hr running my mellow route (Each seq nets about 7k/hr). Those two cloudliners were making 14k/hr each. So that's a wash there, but I was losing 1k/hr on my paris/london feeder, and losing likely a similar amount on my Sao Paulo/Rio de Janeiro one. So I was probably more like 25-26k/hr on those four slots using the cloudliners. The cloudliners were making WAY more experience, but leveling up isn't really going to give me any benefit anymore anyway. Now I'm not planning to quit any time soon. I love this kind of slow-grind low-attention type game. Tiny Tower did it ~amazingly~. Pocket Planes is sneaking up on Farmville levels of required attention, at least my planes won't wilt! As to what can be added to make things more interesting? Maybe once you hit a certain level you get the ability to upgrade the class of one airport, or increase the population of an airport by X Million (which would have the result of upgrading the class). It'll be another stat in the stats page "Number of airports upgraded: 1 of 4" That would make strategies and possibilities explode, I think. L.A. becomes a powerhouse once San Diego, San Francisco and Honolulu become class 3s. Jakarta gets really exciting. Australia can actually become a destination! Maybe make it so that past a certain level you can turn on advertising for an airport permanently for a certain fee. Like a 4th level upgrade on the airport. As we get more and more and more planes and start opening smaller ports, this would make it easier to focus jobbers on our big destinations.
