Yes it is intentional, I said it was. From another forum, posted by one of the devs, in response to people complaining about Toucharcade always coming first: "Just stay tuned. We have a couple different things we are trying for the event." Seems pretty clear, after seeing what the developers have posted on that forum, that the low bux for first place is specifically to 'punish' Toucharcade members, as the Toucharcade flight crew will be first.
I was very excited too, upgraded it to the maximum and... Crap. It's impossible to make profit out of it. I think the only profit is by sending people with bux, but you can do that same thing with other planes and get a better reward. What a real pity, because the starship is cool, but uselesss.

I forwarded time once to try it out. My airport in berlin is now closed and it doenst appear in the events screen that their are floodings. I also started the game today and I recieved my starship, but it disappeared after checking in. As said as before I forwared time yesterday once. What to do?
For some reason I'm no longer part of touch arcade flight crew. I was experimenting with other names just because and now it Won't let me region even though I typed in toucharcade. Any help?
Got my Starship! But because of such horrible ratings, Im either gonna scrap it and sell the parts, keep it in the hangar, or trade it for another plane.
That's awesome! I was imagining that I'd be sitting class 2 planes in cities waiting for them to fill up, but the paired class 3's makes a lot more sense. I'm totally going to start transitioning to this. One problem I have is that it seems like -M planes would be the best for this, and right now I have 0 -M planes in my fleet because it always annoyed me trying to fill them up.
I just got my starship. It's got a pretty cool novelty factor, But how the hell are you meant to make money on these things?! Even with the 25% bonus, I still make a loss. Does anyone actually know how to make money with them. I think i might scrap the parts. Bit annoyed as I just wasted 14 bux to get it out the hangar, and now it won't move from London, as I don't wanna loose money!
found out you can make money on starship using London-Paris route. Dont use for long journeys Plus,why do the winners on the Singapore global event get less bux than the teams in the top 10???
I've been a part of the number two flight crew for the last three events and found this forum while searching for strategy and people to trade parts with. The name of the crew is #JAYISGAMES Guess I'll stay with them to get higher reward, but stay here for MUCH better comment section.
Because we consistently win and are being what looks like punished for it. It's like knocking points off Barcelona or Real Madrid ha.
