You made me smile mate. As for the dude you are replying too, I got plenty of spare parts if you'd like some.

Ideally you want to only make deliveries with the 25% bonus. What a lot of people do is have a target city at each of the range of their biggest planes and use smaller airplanes/airports to "feed" the big airports with jobs so that the big planes are always taking full loads.

In your case, as others have mentioned, you can probably consolidate several smaller airports. You probably don't need more than 4-6 to keep all your planes going. I wouldn't worry too much about upgrading airports until you start running out of layover slots or don't seem to be getting enough jobs. That said, it probably never hurts to upgrade big cities like NY and LA. You'll probably use those two forever.

I've actually switched to this method a few days ago.
I have found this method a lot more fun (and rewarding) than the old method of normal jobs.

Initially I had 2 double routes
    NA<->Asia
    SA<->Asia
with 10 cyclones as the delivery system, and 12 areo's and pearjets as my feeders.

When this current starship event started, I put all my feeders into all non-hub airports, so I can cycle through them for mystery parts.
All my big planes were on hubs.

I was loathe to lose all the bux jobs that were refreshing, so initially, I filled up all my cyclones, ran out of space, and started backfeeding, using cyclones when they were full of bux jobs.

This is my current Bux priority setup:
    Paired cities:
    Chicago/New York
    Rio/Sao Paolo
    Beijing/Shenyang
    Seoul/Shanghai

Pairs of cyclones, one each in the paired cities. When one of the cyclones is full of bux, (after a few refreshes), I swap them, and unload.

So now, my CYCLONES are my feeders, and my pearjets/areos are my main delivery planes!!!!

The reason to use class 2 planes to deliver is:
    1) I have DC/Toronto/Detroit in the East Coast (a LOT of bux jobs from Asia to there)
    2) easy to fill 5 or 6 jobs going to the same destination

so far my results are 2500+ bux a day, using a LOT less playing time.

About to cash in 10,000 bux. Need the plane slots, since I have too many bux jobs, and not enough small planes to deliver all the bux.
So far, if my layovers are full, I sometimes use the cyclones to do a multi-stop round trip delivery for the smaller bux jobs.

I find this system is much nicer "fire and forget" way of playing.
    A lot less micromanaging.
    More money for less effort!

    Lol

And NOOO, Chicago just had a snow storm hit!!! That's going to mess up my whole system! Since I put resources into this event, I've been running half capacity on layovers on the American side of things, now I'll be down to 25% capacity in NY when my jets land as Chicago was feeding them! Luckily only one plane will be grounded there :)

'Snow way' this'll stop my San Diago operations though :p

I agree it _IS_ possible to rack up a high number of jobs if you have enough planes dedicated toward the event and just grind through it over a few days.

Here's a screenshot of the leader board right now. I've done 3100 jobs so far, almost half the number of jobs of the #1 ranked guy, and I did it all from normal jobbing, NO Bux spent to speed things up. I have a few Kangaroos and SeaKnight dedicated to delivering San Diego jobs ... a potential max of 29 seats and it only takes a 5 minute round trip to/from Los Angeles. I bet I could double my jobs if I had allocated even MORE planes/seats toward the event. The only challenge is having big planes taking San Diego jobs to Los Angeles, you have to keep them queued up so you never have to wait for them to arrive (has not been a problem for me since I have a bunch of big planes providing a steady supply).

Good screenshot, nice to see the rankings at the top without being there (wish there was a way to do that!). And you're only JUST holding on to 4th there :p And also, there's a massive 1,000 or so job difference in the top 3 places above you?! Crazy stuff.

Yeah, my 1,500 jobs is all normal jobbing too, with no advertising - will probably try that next event though. I've been able to keep my main route open for my 4 bigger jets but only just. It's put all my planes out of place on the other side of the world at some point in order to grab / deliver the mystery parts (currently at 36 parts, though I stopped bothering as much with them since yesterday)!

I didn't advertise either. Keep forgetting about that feature, I'm too cheap to spend coins on advertising. I switched from doing San Diego on the side to doing it full time with all my planes. It was just easier than keeping track of which planes do the Main Route and which ones do San Diego. I love how the Global Event jobs are highlighted in BLUE cuz it makes it very easy to zero in on them while scrolling through a fully upgraded class 3 airport. It's been pretty easy working San Diego while watching TV. :D

I'm easily bored and keep changing my Main Route. Did the North America to Asia route. Did the South America to Asia route. I'm now toying with the idea of a few main hubs in a "circular" pattern for my big planes to make their rounds. I'm thinking maybe 4 cities for these hubs. And then a few feeder cities that fan out from each of those hubs. Hard to explain, but I can visualize it in my mind. :D It will probably not be the most profitable since there is less of a straight line route, but I'm thinking it will be made up by having the big planes constantly in the air cuz they'll always be full delivering something somewhere.

Oh I finally saw an upside down plane!!! I've heard about this from others. This is the first time I saw it myself. Pretty nifty.

Yeah, I don't really make enough per day to advertise more than a few times per day at the moment as I haven't really pushed my current route so it doesn't turn enough profit. I've been waiting for the update for the hangar fix as I don't want to lose my upgrades or stats on my planes etc, so have a bit of a mixed fleet at the moment. As soon as that update hits though, my game will explode into 2 routes - the current NY - Bejing with another 2 jets and adding Rio - Undecided. Saving my coins for those airports / upgrades and bux for my next fleet of long distance jets which will be Sequoias, all waiting in the parts section (1 mil coins, 900 bux : )

I looked at buying 4 big cities and creating routes that way but as I progress, my planes ranges change which would mess things up - think I'll save that idea for when I'm bored at the end and want to re-invent some life into it all!

I've yet to see an upside down plane! Will be cool when it happens though :)

How many planes do you have by the way?

I've put some of my planes in the hangar then recommissioned them again. They did not lose their upgrades.

Lol the prize for 1st in the next event is less than the top 10 and top 100 prize. I guess after the last rent we proved we were OP ;)

Oh gee I hope it is a typo that the winner gets less bux than the following place getters.

First time completing a world event, Just wondering if we need to keep a plane slot open for the starship and when we will be receiving the starships.

    Thanks!

I still haven't received my starship and I did about 50 jobs. Is this a bug
