I noticed that too. Just wasn't sure if it always shows up in the terminal or not, so I still end up scrolling through the cargo. I'm too anal I suppose.
yep, that is definitely the easiest and most convenient way. i found all 8 of my mystery parts this way
I'm hoping so. But we can only disprove it without developer confirmation. That said, I'll probably accept anecdotal evidence in this case since ac's and drose's experiences match my own. Also, if anyone is worried about it, I know that you can have more than one unredeemed mystery part at a time and the parts can show up even with parked planes present. Those were a couple my superstitions for a while. Lol
Hmm, well I don't know exactly what the bux/distance value would be...what's the fare from Tokyo–Mexico City? That would give you the distance, since distance is just the fare - 50. I tried to extrapolate...seems to me like something like 2500 mi? So the expense is just speed * weight * distance / 400. Assuming a level 3 weight of 5.0 tons (not sure if that's correct?) and plugging into the expense, I get $12,500...so you're still losing ~$2000 in absolute terms. Of course, in terms of the opportunity cost, you're also essentially losing all the fuel money you could have saved by using something else on that bux run! The same flight in the Equinox (assuming straight-line waypoints) would cost you $3360, so you're really losing something like $9000 on that flight!
I am a bit stumped. I am aggravated at how hard it is to get more planes in your fleet. The slots are just too expensive, so I upgraded half the fleet to pears and similar planes for size and distance. I closed a lot of smaller airports and now span from Tokyo to Dallas, however it is very clear that you do not gain money faster this way. Am I the only one that sees this? Smaller flights are obviously shorter and you can run more. An hour for longer flights only nets 2500+, but a 15 minute flight can net 700-800+ so why not just stick to smaller areas? I do not see benefit in expanding and am considering contracting. Am I alone?
I suppose it depends on your playing style, if you can give it alot of time per play then shorter flights make sense. If you have to leave the game due to stupid thinkgs like Spouses and pets then longer flights make sense.
dude dude dude, ok erm i see ur point in the positions being stupidly priced i have 12 planes and they want 174k for the next one... cough keep asking.. i have airports from lax to shanghai so have a similar route i have 26 airports though, i see ur point and what ur saying but it really depends on what ur flying and to where
Weird how you get Fogbuster before Aeroeagle. Maybe im missing something but Fogbuster seems like a better plane. Also i mostly have Pearjets. Decisions.. decisions...
Been slaking for about 10 hours :/ pretty bad don't you think? STILL NUMBER ONE IN THE CREW THOUGH WHAT UP DAWG!
Aeroeagles unlock at level 16. Fogbusters unlock at level 20. Still love the Aeroeagles as feeder planes. I got rid of my Fogbusters. Now using mainly Cyclones (level 26) and Aeroeagles.
Nice! I'm sure those Cyclones I sent you helped. I normally approach these Global Events casually but then I discovered I was actually making a decent profit sendin jobs to San Diego. Who woulda thunk.
I disagree, i'm level 31, i got 21 planes, 12 of which are Aeroeagle. I retired my 2 Pearjets, they cost more than Aeroeagle per trip. Same thing with Fogbuster. Right now i'm makin around 1.3 mill per day in coins this chart proves this http://yfrog.com/z/es37zbp
