Ah... I bet the game "knows" which airports I stop at and which ones I only pass through ... and it must place the mystery parts in the pass through airports.

You can recommission a plane at whichever airport to grab the mystery part job. Or you can use some Bux to immediately complete your existing plane's job so your planes reach the airport before the mystery jobs disappear.
Oh gee with those mystery parts, you need to grab them as soon as you see them. I had one at Altanta, but wanted to go somewhere else, but I knew I had another plane at Atlanta. In the 2 seconds it took me to load up the other plane at Atlanta, the mystery part was gone. I've got three so far - all engines LOL!! Atleast it is going on for 3 days, will hopefully have all the parts by then.

1200? Seriously? That depresses me. I've been going as hard as I can and not up to 300 jobs yet, in 80th place. I got up to 50th last night but while I slept I slipped about 100 places, but have managed to claw back some more.
I'm currently 55, slipped almost 100 places while I was sleeping like a rookie! Question regarding the mystery parts, are they always going to have the destination as San Diego (during this event of course) and do they show up no matter if you are loading cargo and people, or just cargo? I got over 10 for the Sea Knight last time, butnone so far for the Starship.
Tons of planes and a lot of free time? Or spending buxs to get planes to airports faster? I have 350 jobs and I am checking the game a lot. Even so overnight I drop several places.
I'm assuming always San Diego. Mystery parts are considered cargo. Further, it looks they can be a little sneaky and don't always sort with the destinations.
I'm pretty sure they're only cargo. I slipped places too! It's annoying. But I'm up to #43 at the moment so I'm happy. Do you still have Sea Knight parts? I would love to trade you for them.
How about a straight swap, all 3 Sea Knight parts for all 3 Starship parts. I'm struggling to get any Mystery Packages
