Starship Error There's something seriously wrong with the Starship. Everytime i run it, its always minus, eventhough i'm running it with 25% bonus and in a straight line to the destination.....
Based on the chart posted a few pages back, the starship is very expensive to fly. I don't think it's intended for everyday use, more of a collectible thing or something cool to use if you've got coins to spare.
Kind of late reply, but I decided that Im just going to go from west to east. Im not really good at planning haha ^^ Ive been earning like 20,000+ from the gross profit though. Its really increasing my daily revenue Thanks to everyone for helping me figure out layovers
I just looked at the chart. this is pretty devastating, i went pretty hard at trying to get those parts. complete waste.
I'm guessing they'll patch it so the starship is actually useable. Abe I the initial weight was only 4.0 it would make a profit
Mystery parts show up randomly as jobs to the current flight crew event. The more jobs you do, the higher your opportunity to see the mystery boxes show up. It has nothing to do with your level or ranking in the flight crew.
I am having an issue syncing across my iPhone and iPad. Is anyone else able to do this? If so what needs to be done as I have the switch set to iCloud in the options? Thanks

I have my iphone and ipad syncing the same game. You have to make sure when you open the game, you see the login to your gamecenter. If not it will not change to the latest action that you have done in pocket planes. And both devices should be using the same gamecenter account. I did not change anything in my game settings. But i have Sync Enabled for iCloud.
By the time you hit the level for them you should have a pretty consistent bux pull though, so it's not really that bad.

In one day, scratch that 3 hours, I managed to get to mystery parts, the body and control, and deliver over 300 cargo to San Diego. I am currently ranked the 34th highest player in the crew, and I plan on getting the #1 spot. WATCHOUT POCKETPLANESGOD, you better hide your wife, and your kids, cuz I'm gonna find you...
I doubt it. It's not a bug, it's intended to be that expensive to fly. Cost to fly is related to speed as well as weight.
I've had the game since day 1 and I've only ever had 1 mystery part. My auntie had two for last night's within minutes. While I do want this Starship I would have much preferred the Blimp or the Balloon.
We're sharing the same boat. I haven't seen a Starship mystery part yet. Do they really appear randomly? I agree, the Starship is a novelty, and I'd much rather have the Blimp or Balloon. So... what is everyone going to name their Starship? If we weren't limited to 5 characters, I might name mine NCC1701.

Eeks!!! Is internet connection required to make progress on the Global Event? Just wondering since I also play Pocket Planes when I don't have wifi ... does this mean any progress made toward the event during this time does not get counted?
Yes, the 'orange' coloured mystery part is quite random. I have so far obtained 12 parts and have used 3 parts to build one Starship. It always give negative profits, so I hardly send it off flying. Keep checking all your airports frequently to grab the mystery parts jobs... Its quite tiring though. I dressed my Starship pilot as "Super Hero", so it's like Superman or Robin flying his Star craft. The starship has fixed pink coloured lights and the interior cabin's colour can be changed... I used bright green and it looks spooky.
