Anyone in the U.S Notice everyone wants to go to Kansas City and nobody LEAVES Kansas City? Jesus I have about 5 planes sitting there in Kansas city and only 1-2 jobs.
Events other than the Global Event Does anyone know what the events other than the Global Event do? For example, I saw a Pirate Party or something in Warsaw today. Does that add jobs to the Tourcharcade crew? Lovin the game so far!
I was curious what the layover thing is. I see it in the airport and mine always says 0/8 or some other number, but I don't know where they come in to play.
Just downloaded the game and do not have a clue what I am doing Please could someone give a few pointers to get started.. Also, I am reading in this thread about save games disappearing. Has Numblebit stated what is causing this? seems pointless spending hours on a game to have it wipe.
It means the passengers that stop over in cities which are not their destination, or something like that. Eg Dropping off passengers in Hong Kong when they're headed to Tokyo will add to your layover count in HK.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I am not maximizing efficiency then. I normally just drop all my passengers and cargo off at their destination. Perhaps I will try to be more strategic in the future. Haha.
To everyone says who they are too far from the Calgary event to participate in it, you do not need to stretch out your flights to reach calgary. All you need to do is buy calgary and then one more airport near it, and then add a plane! Then just wait until people start coming.
Oh wow. I didn't realize it costs a bux to send a gift. I thought I would get a bux in return for sending a gift! But, its all good!
When you get someone a gift, you pay for it, not them. Also, any ideas who is 2cd on the flight crew list??
Layovers are useful in this game for moving things around strategically. Example : during this Calgary event only two of my aircraft could reach the city from thunder falls so I kept those two air craft strictly moving between those two cities. All my other aircraft traveled everywhere else collecting and dropping off anything destined for Calgary in thunder falls for the two aircraft to pick up and haul the rest of the way.
Can't really comment on 1, as im still figuring it out myself. 2, the larger the plane ive noticed the less profit it earns stock. go into the edit screen when the plane is on the ground and upgrade the body a few times. less weight = less fuel burned = more profit.
Also noticed on my stats page the graph with the lines on it is showing nothing,just a dot for each colour..
Probably because today is day #1 for the game, give it a week or two, graph will probably fill out then.
I had the Pirate Party in Warsaw too and opened an airport there. I noticed then that additional theme related transports showed up in the other airports. I got to transport a lot of Pirate-Persons and Treasure-Cargo to Warsaw. So in short: If an airport has an event you have the opportunity to generate more money if you have a connected airport there.
When you level up it says you like get an airport? How do you get it? All I see is buy. In my stats page it says Airport 4 of 6. Should I get 2 for free? but I cant find them.
