I'd like to remind the people requesting plane parts there is a request thread in the MMO CODE/ADD ME section. Also. Id like to say I and I'm not trying to rub it in but I haven't had any game breaking bugs, some slowness from Lockscreen or switching apps but you guys having problems should turn your phones all the way off and on, clear your multitask apps and update your software. Like the old saying if all else fails reboot. Loving the game.
Done all that right after installation, I'm guessing my first gen iPad is slowly on its way out, that or the beta testers missed a few kinks.
in the parts option on the menu, how do u add parts to your plane? Because i have got the plane parts and the correct planes, but i am not sure how to actually add them onto the plane. (Join TouchArcade!!! We are winning!!)
I believe those parts are used for building new planes. Once you acquire all the required parts, your then able to build the specific plane. Your only able to upgrade planes you already own as far as I know. Can anyone link me to the trade thread (if one was created)? I need some Anan-M parts and would rather not flood this thread. Thanks.
It's a GREAT game but there's a bug that randomly resets the game to the tutorial. Wait until an update before you start a serious game.
Can someone help me with the whole "event" thing. So I joined the TA crew, but the area I am flying in is Africa and at level 5 at the moment. I noticed that the TA crew have an event in Calgary. Now when I also look at my "Events" section - I see something in Mombasa (Africa) - so when I click that, it takes me to the map and has the city centered (which I had bought earlier) but doesn't allow me to do anything? If there is an event listed - what is the event about and how do I participate? I'm confused.
Two questions: 1. Does anyone know what determines if an airport is going to earn more money than another. Example. I started in NA and bought a few small airports: Bismark and Thunder Bay. They earn me A LoT of money. I saved and bought Toronto, a big airport and close. I thought since it was a big airport that it would earn me more money and it doesn't. Bismark and thunder bay are my two moneymakers. 2. I bought a new airplane: airvan-p. I thought since it can carry 3 people that it would be better, but it costs me A LOT to fly places and it never profits. Any thoughts? Game frikkin rocks!
Chemical spill in Calgary, CA. 2 Days, 3 hours left. You have to open an airport up in Calgary, as well as have the ability to fly there. If you level 5 and are based out of Africa, I doubt you have enough airports to stretch that distance as well as a strong enough fleet atm. Try stretching out your new airports as you go gradually and hope that the next event is within distance when the time comes. Your just too far at your current level...
Anyone else not getting their ranking in TA? My "jobs by you" just keeps saying it will update shortly ? Cheers
Am i the only not the find this game as fun as tiny tower ? I feel like TA review could have been better. They mentioned a few issues but there other worth mentioning: . no portrait mode, landscape mode for casual games is usually a non starter for me . no music . tutorial somewhat lacking . grinding capabilities less fun that TT, where's the equivalent of the elevator ? . poor user interface. ok I'm in Parts submenu, red cross to go back to menu, no wait I'm back on the airport! .social aspect of the game is really confusing (scores, awards, events, flight crew...) can someone please explain how to compare stuff with friends the way we used to do in TT? I played TT non stop for 7 months, checking my tower in the middle of the night cause I was competing with friends but I'm not sure I feel like that with Pocket Planes. Please help me love this game.
Is the first place reward issued to the entire team that hits it, or is that for the highest rank within the team?
I was based in europe and slowly shifted my operations to the US. Pretty much a stupid, stupid move on my part. I wasted a lot of money and bux.... Stay where you're at, you'll make more $$$
