I've just seen my first mystery part, but it wasn't part of that planes normal journey so I've left it in the hope the ones doing the event will see a few along the way! You just deliver the mystery part (orange instead of a light blue event job) and you'll receive a plane part - i believe it's typically a part for the same plane as the prize is for.
Is anyone else having problems with the latest event? 1. I have not received the reward from the previous event (Moscow) - my husband received the reward about an hour ago. I received the two awards before this one, so I know it has worked before. 2. It is not updating my number of jobs to Philadelphia, it is saying that my rank will be updated shortly. It is giving me the number of jobs the flight crew has completed though, so it is connecting to the pocket planes server (if such a thing exists). 3. Still haven't seen any mystery parts... sigh. Just not having much luck with it at the moment.
Will anyone exchange bux to Coins? I saved up to 1500 bux, and just exchanged for 1,320,000 coins (as I want more plane slots). Is it worthy to do so?
1. It sometimes takes a while to get your reward. I've seen people get theirs hours before mine. 2. It'll update it shortly. Mine was stuck on 1 for about 10 minutes and now it's up to 27. 3. I didn't get a single mystery part on the Brisbane event, got one on this one, though.
Thanks so much :L:S:, I feel a lot better now. The jobs updated to 15 and then suddenly stopped updating again, so I figure it must only do it once or twice an hour perhaps. Good to know how rare those mystery parts are. I missed the Brisbane job (wasn't playing then) - bit of a shame as I live in Brisbane - so really didn't understand how they worked.
new on here~ decided to make an account since i've been creeping/lurking on this thread for the past few days or so. i had a level 14 game, but i realized that i was wholly messed it up. decided to reset the game, and apply what i've learned on this thread thus far. so, as of right now, i've got ... san diego, las vegas, phoenix, chihuahua, houston, dallas, and new orleans. i'm currently level 10, along with a wallaby-m, wallaby p, navigator c, navigator p, airvan m, 2 kangaroo ms, kangaroo c, and a mohawk m. i've got another mohawk m, but i'm waiting for a mohawk m engine. any advice on what to do next? thinking about closing some of my class 1 airports, and upgrading my fleet - but, i don't know if i should just wait until i get equinox, pearjet, or the aeroeagle?
Um.. I only started playing last friday night but am level 20 now. I really don't think it was necessary to delete your previous game, as you can always delete airports and build other ones. I started in Phoenix and had to expand pretty much straight away to South America due to an event. Then soon I was across the atlantic from recife to lagos (level 12). I soon sold all my class one airports and try and sell off as many class 2's as I can. Birchcraft M's are great aircraft, I'd be putting your money in those. Pearjects, aeroeagles etc are annoying as you need to have them full up of everyone going to one place. I hate them as it takes a while to fill them. Now at level 20 I've got access to a plane called a fogbuster which has the capacity for 8 people or cargo. I don;t want it right now as I know it will be a nightmare to fill, upgrade and run. With something like a pearjet, it's not only the cost of the plane, its also the cost of upgrading the range and the reducing the weight (each upgrade is 14 bux and you need 3 to get across the atlantic from NY to London, and also need 3(x 14 bux) to reduce the weight so it's cheaper to fly. So it works out really expensive. Not sure what my advice is to you, but expand around the world, buying class 1's (maybe 2's) that are at the limit of the birchcraft range from eachother. That is what I did and it worked well.
What?? I've had it since it came out and I'm at 19. I've pretty much hammered the game everyday too ha.
Yes it totally took over my life (on holidays at the moment so lots of free time), today though I decided that I was going to give up and didnt play at all during the day. Ofcourse now (night for me) there was a new event, with a plane as a reward.. sigh.
The bigger the plane, the better the hourly profit - if you're running it correctly. If you're making a loss, or nowhere near enough money then it means you're either not running the right route with it, or you're not ready for it.
So much talk about profit per hour, but that is just a real time statistic, much like the planes mileage. Ultimately you can earn just as much doing layovers after the Atlantic crossing rather then before. Yes it does kill your plane statistics, but those stats are irrelevant to how much coin you have gained in an actual hour of play. How much money you make is a direct result of how much P/C you deliver to their destination with the 25% bonus. Not what the plane log is misleading you to believe.
InterestingÂ… in today's quest, bronze arguably beats silver and gold. I don't have room for a new plane, but 10 bux is always nice. Any way to find out what crews are ranked between 11 and 100?
Very true, but they are useful to compare to previous planes. At the lvl 20+ stage, your jobber / feeder planes profits mean nothing - but when you're replacing an AeroEagle with a Fogbuster, it's useful to compare both how long it takes to fill, and how much profit it makes while it's in the air. Every plane i've ever upgraded has been because it's made more money, which has been because it's held more passengers.
yeah.. i expanded too quickly on my other game, that's why i decided to start over. i'm going to see which class 1 airports i should get rid off first. so, should i get miami, ny, or la first?
