"Nonstop" is misleading. You still have to pass through about a million airports, but it has to be one "flightplan." I doubt any plane can make that flight truly non-stop
Hey all, I just submitted an idea to NB for consideration in an future update. Aren't you tired of carting around a bunch of Western Anglo-named people with their very Anglo possessions? Wouldn't you like a little name and cargo diversity to match some of the exotic locations you're servicing? Well, tell them! https://getsatisfaction.com/nimblebit/topics/international_names_and_cargo_please What do you think?
On a lark I decided to go ahead and do the longest flight achievement. Cost me roughly 140-150k in opening airports and like 2k for the actual flight, used a super gopher and actually bought more airports than I needed to in making the trip XD Good news is you get the achieve as soon as set the plane in flight, so you can boost with bucks (7 bux) and sell off all the dummy airports if you want so it doesn't muck up the rest of your job listings.
I don't know if you guys saw this, but "unload all" is coming soon https://getsatisfaction.com/nimblebit/topics/_unload_all_option_for_enhancing_layover_efficiency
Hey, just wondering abt events, ive seen that u have to do 1000 jobs for each event, n there's 45 different events in total I think, does anyone know what u get for these events, how often they come up n if they get changed every do often? Cheers
Transatlantic I don't have the distance for NY-London yet but I finally found my first transatlantic route.
This been 100% confirmed? I feel Like more people might have finishe some with Shanghai and New York and Buenos Aires lately but I have still had yet to see someone who has finished one say there's no reward
Stupid me again, I take it I have to own the airports in question? I currently have 3 planes held up in Bergen, that is listed under events, do I need 2 more there to qualify, or are acts of god not events. Under the events screen I see 9 global events, if I click the 'tick'3 of 45 appear? why 45 when only 9 are shown globally. Totally lost here guys...
We're pretty positive that there is no reward, although it still seems open for debate. It's just that not many people have reached 1000 yet =P
I'm not sure what you are asking here. Where do you find this list of 45 events? I can't find it on my end. Is your question about the Flight Crew and the current global event? Click on the green MENU button (lower left), then click on "flight crew". Enter "toucharcade" for the flight crew name. You will need to deliver 5 or more passengers or cargo to the Global Event city (current city is San Jose). In order to do this, you will need to purchase San Jose. You will also need a class 1 plane that can reach San Jose from one (or more) of your other airports. Global Event jobs appear in blue on your job list. Is your question about the Events screen? (MENU --> Events) This screen enumerates all events in PP. Some cities indicate temporary airport closure and shows reason in the right column (e.g., thunderstorm, tropical storm, etc) Some cities indicate increased number of passengers/cargo wanting to travel to those cities due to the event listed in the right column (e.g., Chick-Con, Dive Trip, etc). The Global Event is listed in blue.
(grumble grumble) London is closed for an hour and my Fogbusters are grounded. Thought about re-buying Marrid to work around this, then realized class 3 planes can't to there. nothing to do but wait it out...
Same problem. Major planes grounded... Thinking about whether the sa-Africa-Asia route is worth trying... This is the ultimate question for this game. After this route established, what's left for us to do is to upgrade airports and planes? Is there a better way of making money?
Menu -> Events -> tap on the button with the tick marks. These are the 45 non-global events. Your progress in them is individual, not tied to the flight crew.
