Ah!!! That must be it!!! I prolly throw more Bux jobs on that lower profit plane. My Fogs always wait for a full flight before taking off.
no it probably is a bit less, because it will cost slightly more to set that journey off (because it's upgraded to be faster), but it does work out more profitable because of the speed increase. The faster / bigger the plane, the more benefit (i.e. upgrading a griffin to max speed you'll see hardly any difference - but upgrading a cloudliner to max speed will see thousands more profit)
Don't upgrade the speed! Fuel costs will rise and you'll lose money. Unless you're going to be present the moment that plane lands, every single time. It definitely is not worth it.
I disagree. You don't need to be there the second it lands. It makes a big difference to profit per hour just for normal gameplay as well.
Profit per hour doesn't really mean much. And what's the point of increasing fuel costs and decreasing profits if you aren't going to take full advantage of the speed? Might as well leave the speed alone.
How does profit per hour not mean very much? It means everything! EAch to their own I guess. I'm making a shed load as a result.
It means nothing to me. And my Cyclone supposedly makes 243,000 an hour. You're making a shed load because you're playing a lot.
Can't understand why your Cyclone says that. Even when I set mine on my first flight, it didn't spaz out like that. Very strange.
The Bux reward is more beneficial to lower level players who are starting out as it could make the difference in purchasing a new plane or upgrading one. I make plenty of Bux just by doing jobs so the 50 Bux isn't as attractive as something like a rare plane part. I'm only casually working on the Global Event. I send a plane down to San Jose whenever everything falls into place to fill my little Kangaroo.
Not once but twice as well! Thinking about doing the same. It's a better airport anyway, except I still have some pearjet jobbers that I don't think can make that distance??
Yup just checked, Pearjets can't make it to Paris even with 3x range... Kinda sucks considering I invested so heavily on them.
