like it, am struggling to get bux at the mo lvl 21 63k cash and 71 bux Have 1 fogbuster M doing NY > Beijing solely 4 aeroeagles M doing similar 2 Pearjets M feeding NY from LA / Chicago 1 Pearjet M / 1 Birchcraft M feeding Beijing from Tokyo/Shenyang 2 Pearjet M doing bux runs when I find them, 9 is highest so far NY lvl 2 LA 3 Chicago 1 London 2 Tehran 1 Beijing 3 Shenyang 2 Tokyo 2 top earner is Fogliner 5.1K then all rest above 2k with 1 at 1.8K is this a good foundation and will all come good as i get better aircraft or have I gone wrong somewhere ?
No it sounds good, although your profits sound a little low - do you make sure your planes are full EVERY single time? My fogliner is 6.3k profit on a very similar route? The way I would deal with bux if I were you, would be to utilise your aeroeagles by spreading out along the route, finding good bux jobs and dropping them off somewhere. Doesn't matter if it's a loss to drop them somewhere for others to pick up because they're so valuable. I probably make 500+ bux a day at present
Yes, that's quite possible, although 6.3 sounds a bit of a big jump from 5.1? Still - well worth having!
ah. as akpak said above... You get more layover slots, and more jobs... Upgrades make the most difference to class 3 airports. Upgrading a class 1 airport, I barely noticed a difference in the amount of jobs - especially against the cost to do it.
Got pearjets and hoping to do LA > Tokyo for the profit. Wheres the best route? LA > NY > London > Karachi > Beijing > Tokyo? Or should i just do NY to Beijing?
The shorter the better. Basically, in an ideal world you want the shortest journey whilst still filling your plane each time! New York --> Beijing works well for my big planes, but you can probably get away with a shorter route with a pearjet.
I noticed that this website: http://www.therustysnowman.com/proj/pocketplanes.php when you route a plane and put in the upgrades of your planes that your speed lowers your profit w/ bonus. Can anyone confirm that?
It makes sense when you think about it. Your profit for that flight is lower, but it's completed faster, meaning you can start the next flight sooner = more profit in the long run.
Do you find it worthwhile to do the 3 speed upgrades to your airplanes? I've only been upgrading range (3x) and weight reduction (3x).
Yes, most definitely! It goes well with the weight reduction, to make sure you still make good profit. I only buy a plane when I can fully upgrade it
I'm playing casually and I know my game is not as optimized as yours but ... my Fogbuster profits are all over the map. Fog 1: 3.5k Fog 2: 6.4k Hmm.... not sure the reason for this discrepancy. Both run the exact same route/passengers (LA-Tokyo, currently transitioning to NY-Shanghai). Both have roughly the same total flight time (20h10m & 18h39m), so that's not the reason for the difference. You'd think they'd both be closer together in profits?
Yeah that seems very strange indeed! The only things I can think of is a) you're not filling it every time, or b) the lower profit has done a LOT more bux jobs?
Ok, I'll give that a try. There goes all my Bux! LOL. Good thing I've got 1675 Bux, was saving up for Cyclones (which I have not yet unlocked, but like the 6/6 even P/C split).
Well, I would actually save more bux. Although i've upgraded all mine, i'm going to have to wait a while before I can afford the cloudliners i'm about to unlock!
