Feeders? Flyers? Dictionary, please.

 

I use LA and Chicago to feed New York, and I use Tokyo and Shenyang to feed Beijing.

Feeders are airports and planes you use just to 'feed' your main airports with flights destined for further away airports. They're helpful because it means you're filling your main airports with layovers so your bigger planes aren't waiting around to fill up.

 

Isn't Seoul a better feeder than Shanghai?

 

shenyang, not shanghai. Not totally sure about Seoul or shenyang tho, probably insignificant difference

 

Should I upgrade LA(feeder) or NY

 

Did you do any of the exploits that were making the rounds? They did this to accounts suspected of cheating the game...

Hi, i sold some of my airports :-( but now i don't owe any money

 

I have switched the time forward so the plains instantly came at there destination, is that a cheat? If it is i will stop doing that, i saw it on youtube

 

I went to Colorado for a week, changed my iPhone time zone from Pacific to Mountain to match, and later installed PP while I was there. Then I changed my iPhone time zone from Mountain back to Pacific when I returned home ....

WOW --- I had no idea I was taking a risk by changing the time on my phone. It would be a minor annoyance not being able to change the time if I happen to travel within the United States, however I would find it a major inconvenience if I couldn't do that while travelling abroad. :-/

I am relieved to discover that this exploit did not affect me!!!

(I realize setting the time from Mountain to Pacific is setting it "back" ... but I would set my time "forward" when traveling to the East Coast. I will try to remember NOT to change the time on my phone when I travel)

 

Hey i was just wondering, do you only pick up p/c going to ny from your feeder airports in the east (tokyo and shenyang)? Or do you just pick up whatever that is going to the west side or even the middle airports like tehran?

Nothing to do now really except start over and play the game correctly this time.

 

I don't think you need to change your system time manually. Every time I've traveled (and I go East a lot), my phone has automatically picked up the local time from area cel towers.

That sort of "change the time" shouldn't trip any alarms. I'm guessing he was also much further up the leaderboards, or had more bux/coin than he should have had at his level/time played, which *would* trip alarms.

No, you get the 25% bonus paid in coin (at the bux exchange rate). It will be ~500c.

 

You we get the coins but we don't sew them except in the profit?

Yeah HIGHLY annoying! Best thing to do in this situation is to send the planes as far as you can (to the last pit stop before the city that's down), so that by the time it's there, the city is back up and running again to carry on the journey.
