Alright so far my only pearjet goes from LA to Tehran and gain a profit of 3.8k with the 25% bonus saving up to go to beihjing and finally Tokyo Collecting as much bux as I can for the Aero's 91 bux need for buying parts, building+range upgrades.
Actually aero earns more than fogbuster. Due to its mass and red airport only, its flying cost is pretty high. My tops for fogbuster is a little below 10k. My aeros earn more than 12k. Btw I'm lv 21, with 1 fogbuster, 5 aeros, 1 pearjet with stormtrooper pilot (hell yeah!!).
I'm not entirely agree with the idea of layover for the big airport. Well, it totally works if you have just < 10 planes. But when you have 16 planes, and those feeders (mine were kangaroos) can earn 6-7k per long trip (tokyo/seoul/shanghai to lima/ santiago), I think it would be more effective to just wait for some refreshes and send those planes with 25% bonus. Btw, my daily revenue is 420k.
I'm level 14 and hoping to grab a class 3 plane sooner rather than later. I have a ton of Huey bodies and a Huey engine, anyone interested in trading?
Yes! It depends on the way you play. If you can monitor your game every often, you need short route. I am not sure how layover can earn $. You need to do a lot of transportation to your "hubs", which these flights you can't have the bonus means earning less. And then you can have a huge income with your LA-Tokyo flight. While I am playing every fight have bonus (by refreshing 1 or 2 times). And flight a medium to short range (currently Tokyo to Bangkok is the farer). And I can get a 6k per hour with my pearjet. I just not sure which way is more profitable. Any idea?
I'll give you a fogbuster for a whole Huey. BTW add me on gamecenter and/or pm me. This isn't right thread for trading parts
Ah.... I just crossed that bridge tonight when I bought my first class 3 plane, a Fogbuster-M. Guess I'll have to go through Paris now (London costs a few pennies more). I keep revamping my setup and that throws things out of whack for a while. I ended up with full layovers at LAX & HND so my planes were grounded for a while until I could sort that out. I swear there's a conspiracy... almost all of the C/P going to the same destination are all C, so I can't round out the P spots on my M planes, and they all end up hanging out at the airport indefinitely. How are you liking your Sequoias? Fogbusters seem like a good "sweet spot" for class 3 planes.
There are pros and cons to both. This is why I have a mix of M, C and P planes. However I find myself buying more M planes going forward. Today I had a bunch of C wanting to go to Tokyo but not enough P to fill my AeroEagle-M planes (something like 10+ Cargo and 1 Passenger). It was so frustrating, and I wished I had bought some AeroEagle-P and AeroEagle-C planes. Similar thing happened with C and P going to Santiago.
Yes, this is one reason why I like the M planes ... no missed Bux. I've finally collected 1000 Bux, ready to blow it all away in one fell swoop when I upgrade to the class 3 planes I will (hopefully) buy soon.
Hi everyone! I could need some advice: I'm level 14 now and operating in Asia. Got rid of all my class 1 airports a while ago and even closed most of the class 2 ones. Trying to switch most planes to Birchs while checking the market for Pearjet parts. My questions: Is it worth it to upgrade airports? even in my class 3 airports i sometimes have to wait a while to even fill up my Birchs for the 25% bonus... Should i upgrade my Birchs? I would go for weight first to make more money and then maybe range but so far most of my airports are not that far apart. Thanks in advance!
Upgrading airports increase the number of layovers they can hold. You can have up to 60 layovers when fully upgraded. I only upgrade my "hub" airports, cuz that's where I dump all my layovers. Unfortunately, I'm finding 60 not enough. I hope they increase this in the future. I have only upgraded range and weight on my planes. Have not upgraded speed on any of my planes. I upgraded my Birches to extend their range in order to cross the Atlantic from Lagos/Africa to Rio/South America. When you move into PearJets, you will need to upgrade them to be able to cross from New York to London.
Are planes supposed to keep upgrades when stored in hangar? It was working no problem for me yesterday but pulled the old Mohawks out after a day of not using them and all upgrades gone.
Some people are misunderstanding us who are heavily employing layover strategy. Yes you cash in big for the long flight as you cluster all layovers in your hub; but you also have local regional planes (be it the feeding planes or other lower class planes) to do regular short runs while your big planes are in transition. You don't just wait for layovers too, you can just leave them in the airport if you it's not enough to fill up the big plane. (as they'll never disappear) You grab other passengers (refreshed) to do short- or mid- runs. But yes, the downside if you expand too quick you need a lot of planes to fully take advantage of your network.
i would upgrade airports for the increased number of jobs mostly. i do layovers but not that much so i never reached the limit. i guess the Birchs gonna stay with me for a while so i can upgrade the a bit while getting some Pears. Thx!
Ive been saving up all my coins and bux while doing the current event to help out. My route is from Honolulu over to Tokyo with a route that goes down to Lima/Rio up to Lagos which can circle back to North America or go to Tokyo. *What should I invest my money and bux in? I have so much, should i just max out all my airports with upgrades? Buy more plane slots and get some more planes?
