When you have a game this good and you want to look past game breaking bugs it's so hard when stuff like this happens. I've been waiting for iCloud to synch for over 12 hours now and it hasn't lol.
I'm certainly hoping. Some people are saying that people have to contribute some minimum amount, I'm not sure what that is. Hopefully it'll be a flat number and not a percentage of the total if that's the case.
I kinda hope there's a minimum so only people that actually did work get a deserved reward and the people that just sat idle in the group get a lesson learned (I'm mean, haha) but then again, 100Bux for everyone would benefit a lot of people, including the group itself...
I really hope these bugs are fixed. Knowing NimbleBit, we'll see a fix update soon. I hope. It's happened to me twice!
Anyone can, there's no bar to entry. You just go to flight crew and type in TOUCHARCADE as one word and you're in!
The only thing I'm hoping will act as a bar to getting the reward is the amount of time you're in the crew. That way people can't switch crews mid-event when they see that one crew is winning over the other. Other than that I have no problem with people just sitting in the crew and reaping the rewards. Some people have stated that they'd like to be in the crew but started in different areas. That's the pits if they can't feel like they're a part of the crew just for that choice. I can see a problem with people that have multiple devices having their accounts sit idle to buy and gift parts to their "main" account, but since what you can buy is affected by your level I don't see this being that big a deal...if someone wants to put the time and effort into playing two different accounts let them have the reward I say.
I've been wondering about the prizes too and looking at the Prizes section it says WINNER, not WINNERS, 100 BUX, top 10 50, top 100 20 bux and under 1000 10 bux, i would imagine at this point TOUCHARCADE has a crap ton of people, maybe not over a thousand but this listing has to be for the people in the group and not ever "Flight Crew" #10 flightcrew has only 140deliveries, I'm Number 11 on Toucharcade so i can only see up to #7 who has 99, but I imagine #1 probably has more deliveries than all of Flightcrew #10, if that makes sence, so whoever on our team has #1 will get the 100, me being at 11 will get 20, unless I can get my butt in gear and get back in the top 10. I think this makes the most sense, but i'm guessing, probably wrong, who knows, we'll find out in 2 days
I'm that #7, hello! First has 131, second has 128, third has 112. So yeah you're pretty close on that note! I have a feeling that there are only a few real flight crews going on at the moments and the majority of the list is just solo people that haven't joined a crew yet.
I'm really confuse about these bugs/issues they're having. Lost all my bux (bought the 4.99 package) got reset to lvl 1 with beginner planes and airports. But I still have my high-scores on GC and I'm still in the TA Flightcrew and it says I've done 27 jobs.
I started in Europe but I got Calgary to help with the efforts, nothing else there though.... Allmost level 9 so should I get Seattle too and use that for the event base? I'm wondering what Seattle is like for getting cargo and passengers.

-What happens if you go to sleep while you have planes flying? Will they "expire"? -What are "jobs" for a crew? Are they landing a plane, or something else?
- nope, they'll just continue flying, and land when they reach their destination, and you'll automatically get the coins/bux. - jobs are just transporting people and cargo. I don't know if one item = one job or one trip = one job.
