for all the people doing LA to Tokyo routes.. do you guys stop in between to drop off and pick up? or just wait to fill up all Tokyo passengers at LA for the bonus (and vice versa)?
The problem is if you limit crews then you have to have some system for regulating your crew, adding people removing people, approving people, etc, and that would also mean crew leaders or something similar. Otherwise the system would wind up pretty broken. And I think that's a lot to implement, though I suppose they could do it.
2 hour flights are so nice! Much less iPhone/iPad checking and my profits have only been going up despite the flight decreases.
10k more coins for Los Angeles and almost level 13! Already have Seattle and that boosted up my profits! Edit: Sold 2 cities and now have Los Angeles and expending East! Getting rid of all my class 1 planes except my mohawks and replacing them with birchcrafts and equiox
M for me but its always nice to have P and C planes if theres ever a city that has a bunch of just Cargo or Passenger
Oh, ok. Does each city have a different ratio of Cargo to Passenger jobs? I've been buying only Ms so far, but I was wondering if itd be more profitable to have P or C planes.
Its easier to fill a Mixed Planed but you might find it annoying when your plane reaches a city where it doesnt get full because it cant accept another cargo and your passenger seats are full. I have 2 Mohawk M 1st class 1 Birchcraft M and 1 P going to get a Cargo one. I also have a Equiox M and just need the bux to make the other P Equiox then going to make the Cargo version.
I think it's a matter of choice depending on what kind of player you are. I started out buying a couple M's but eventually found them annoying to fill when scrolling through the list of jobs. Now I just do P or C. If you find that planes aren't filling at certain airports, upgrade them. I've had to do this with most of my class 3 airports so I could fill up my Aeroeagle's.
5 airports and many planes If my game goal is to operate only 5 airports (LA, New York, London, Tehran, Shanghai), how many planes should I aim to have? As many as possible, or is there a recommended optimum amount? I am thinking since planes do not need any maintenance or upkeeping fees, it won't hurt to have more, as long as you can afford it... Moreover, planes will increase your airline value.
I've just started buying Pearjets, and I have two M's so far. Do you mean they're annoying to fill with or without trying for the 25% bonus? And that sounds like a good idea, I think I'll start upgrading my airports soon.
Yes! For planes need 4-5 passangers/cargo, you can hardly fill it at the first time. You need to wait for the luck refresh. I agree the scrolling is quite annoying. And I guess Nimblebit should make it a little fine-tune. To what extend do upgrading an airport is worthwhile? I mean will there be a "bloom" on the number of passenger which makes filling a plane more easily?
When planes with more capacity, it is always harder to fill with bonus. But then with M plane, as the pool become both Passenger and Cargo, it should be easier to fill.
The only advantage that I can think of is that... It is more simply to choose your P or C as the dropdown list of the airport is simplier.
I tend to use P or C only. And can always fill up the planes everytime How? You need to have some subsidiary cities to feed to your main hub. Layovers are awesome
