Is it worth upgrading my Pearjet with less carbon fiber weight? That's the one that makes it cost less to fly around right? I get Aerojets next level so I don't know if I should just save my bux for them instead.
Probably LA first. Closer means QUICKER profit, and the fact your planes will fill faster because LA gives more jobs
If you have to wait that long, the other might be a better option. You'll have to start from scratch again to get LA but you'll be making more profit so will be worth it
Since Seattle is cheaper, it might be better to pick it up first, unless you're constantly on the game to send off planes. Then I'd get LA so you can make lots of money on short (<10m) flights
Ok need some advice, since Lima is a minor event now too. I have Mexico City, Houston, Rio and Santiago, all of which can service Lima with my Birch's. What other city would be good to add to that mix so I can get more flights to Lima?
You want fewer airports, not more. If you open Lima (keeping in mind that minor events don't do much), then close Houston. You might not even make back what you spend on opening Lima during the event...
Hmm recife might be good, maybe could make the hop to lagos. BA is a good option too since it will get me more jobs. Ok thanks!
Alright I sold all of my cities (black dotted) in America just to get to Santiago for the event and now im rebuilding and its paying off.
Then close some of your other airports. You can "cluster" jobs much easier with *fewer* airports. It seems counter-intuitive, but here's the extreme example: I have LA and NY. The game won't give me jobs for airports I don't own, so *every* job in LA will want to go to NY, and vice versa. It sounds like you can safely close Houston, which will mean less jobs in the other airports asking to go there.
Are we 100% sure this is true? Only time I've heard guy actually post on this forum was a while ago, and he said he was having bugs with game registering all 1000 jobs completed. I'm wondering if update added something. Guess I'm just hopeful there are rewards because it would give something else to look forward to and increase longevity of the game
Not 100%, but in the thousands of posts in this thread (geez only out a little while and already the 21st most prolific thread in this forum), no one has ever reported getting one, so it seems like a reasonable guess
well.. when someone finally reaches 1000/1000 completed minor event, we will know what the "reward" is
