Very late to this, but I never glitched at all on the last event, so I got my 35 bux and one Huey part (controls)

Anyone who got a bunch of extra parts want to share the wealth? I need body and engine. GC: akpak

What's the best route? (i.e. which cities should I use to get from LA to Tokyo?)

Boston is closer. That takes 2 for an Aeroeagle, or 3 for a Birchcraft.

    Not sure about NY.

    Thanks!

I was worried about it having a negative impact on the job pool.
I've got things set up with nearby Class 1 cities as feeders into my main hubs just in case Class 3 planes need to work around any city outages.
Well, that's the plan. I already bought my Fogbuster parts, now I'm just trying to save up for my next airplane slot to build the thing. Next plane slot is 378,525 coins, currently have 47k coins, it's gonna be a long time ... cuz funds keep getting diverted to upgrading airports when my layovers are full ... a side effect of expanding too quickly to get to Santiago for the Global Event (I was based in Europe when this event started).

    Here's my current setup:

    MAIN TRANSATLANTIC ROUTE:
2 Aeroeagles (both M) and 4 Pearjets (2M, 1P, 1C); Fogbusters will be added soon
    LA - NY - Madrid - Tehran - Shanghai - Toyko

    LA HUB:
    2 Birches (both M)
    layovers from Honolulu & Seattle
(temporarily receives layovers from South America, anything that comes back up after sending C/P down to Santiago for the Global Event)

    TOKYO HUB:
    3 Birches (1M, 1P, 1C)
    layovers from Beijing & Shanghai

    SECONDARY TRANSATLANTIC ROUTE:
(Hastily purchased because I was too cheap to put my Birches in the hangar and pay 2 Bux to drop them across The Pond for the Santiago Global Event ... so the route is now used for Birch crossing only, when I need to clear up my layovers at an airport)
    Madrid - Lagos - Rio

    NORTH/SOUTH AMERICA ROUTE:
(Only used to fill the time when nothing else falls in place on the main line):
Seattle - LA - Mexico City - Lima - Buenos Aires

I have 2 Birches (1M, 1C) loosely devoted to the Santiago Global Event ... they mostly runs up and down the Americas whenever they are filled or wherever they are needed.

I must say that full Honolulu-Tokyo runs on my Aeroeagles are very lucrative. :D

Damn son! Looking good. I just got to level 14 finally get to experience some Pearjet love.

Right now I have Seattle, LA, Houston, Mexico city, Lima, Rio, Santiago, and NYC. I think I might add HNL and London, then get Lagos and Tehran, and eventually off to Asia.

How much is a pearjet with full upgrades for distance to make the hop from NYC to London?

Cheers man. Sounds like a good plan you have there.

It's 98 bux for a pearjet (assuming you'll be buying parts and not the plane out-right), and to upgrade 3 times! Well worth it though

    Other Events

I did not get "the glitch." So therefore, I only received one Huey body. Question being, I'm assuming that future events will have more Huey parts? It kinda blows having each event last at least three days and not have back to back opportunities for the same plane parts.

Speaking of events, do you get rewards for the other events? So far I've 50+ Santiago runs and almost as many Lima money runs. So what's the reward for Lima?

    Thanks.

You don't get rewards for the other events afaik. It just increases the passengers/cargo going there

So I have Moscow and Tehran.

I'm expanding into Asia and I want to know what's the best route for my Pearjets.

    So from LA to Tokyo...

should I buy Beijing, Delhi, and Bangkok?

LA is a much better investment, and will last all the way to level 20+, when you have class 3 planes. However, Seattle is further away from Phoenix, and will net more profit. Personally, I have Phoenix, Seattle AND LA, and I am operating in South America as well.

If you have the money, get both :) LA is the better city overall, with more jobs.
