Yeah it does lose all upgrades which is dumb. I had a Roo that was upgraded for distance, and I lost my upgrades.
Nope, you keep all your upgrades. I've moved a few fully upgraded planes around and they still have their upgrades.
I'm running pure Fogbusters currently. I considered the Sequoia, but the speed is just too dramatically reduced. It already takes well over an hour to go between Los Angeles <-> Tokyo.
This wasn't true for me. Hmm weird. I initially removed the Roo with upgrades to the hangar, brought it back for the Casablanca event and then removed it again, brought it back for the Santiago event, and all my upgrades are gone.
Like I said above, it wasnt true for me. Definitely not mistaken, most probably a bug. Maybe has to do with how many times you add and remove it, but regardless mine lost all upgrades.
I lost all of my upgrades too...and I'm not too happy about it! There's no warning about losing upgrades (like when you close an airport), so I didn't even think it was a problem. I had a full fleet of upgraded planes. I put a bunch of them in the hanger to move them more effectively, and when I got them out, all of my upgrades were gone.
There's no warning because it's a bug. I just now took a fully upgraded Birchcraft and removed it, then put it back to test if upgrades get removed. It still has all it's upgrades.
Alright level 12 now. Equinox or Birchcraft? and I have some mohawk parts im willing to trade (Mohawk C Engine, Mohawk P Controls, Mohawk P Body)
Birchcrafts can hold more than Equinoxes, but Equinoxes are cheaper. It's better to get BCs in my opinion, but Eqs are better than Class 1 planes
According to my logs, my Equinox is my least profitable plane even including all my class 1 planes so I wouldn't reccomend it... I like Birchcrafts more anyway because it has an extra slot. Equinox are alot faster though, so maybe that's why I'm not maximising it's profit because I only check every hour or so.
Ok I Think I just figuered out my game plan. 3 Birchcrafts, 3 Equinox, and 2 class 1 mohawksto keep it even ill buy more more slots eventually but for now i need to service America!
I'm currently on level 12 and have most of the class 3 airports in europe and some class 2 and cant decide wheather I should expand down to africa and then towards south america and north america or head to asia and beijing and tokyo and then getting north america. Any advice?
IMO the best route to aim for is LA --> Tokyo. As you're already in the middle of that route, i'd head to Asia. Sounds like you're doing ok though so just keep doing that!
