Try doing Lima to Easter Island with a full range Mohawk. It flies way faster and carries 3 items. Then you could just fly back with whatever cargo there is and leave it for another c2 or c3 to pick up
The speed increase has increased the cost by 15%, the weight decrease has decreased the cost by 15%, resulting in no overall change to the cost.
Does anyone knows what happens when you put an ungraded plane in the hangar? Do you lose the upgraded when you take it out?
I have a feeling it loses it's upgrades, but I'm not certain on that. Looking at my hangar, it seems suspicious that the ones in there all have no upgrades...

Actually that's the one thing that makes me feel better. There is no element of "customer dis-satisfaction" no matter how long you leave them at a layover at the airport.
Best class 1 plane is probably Kangaroo being as it holds 4 passengers and has decent range. If you're a new player, just scramble around doing as many full jobs as possible. you can't really go wrong! And gradually, spread out your airports as your planes get better and start selling off class 1 for class 2 airports, whilst still spreading out.
Im doing the same thing. the achievement says 100 jobs. is that 100 trips to the island, or 100 people\cargo delivered?
You do not lose any upgrades. I swap my fully-upgraded Kangaroos and Birchcrafts into the hangar and back out all the time.
