Without having to look through all the pages of this thread, can someone let me know if there is a touch arcade group to join for this game? And if so, what it's called?
Hey everyone, I've been a long time touch arcade fan and am new to the forums. I joined the toucharcade flight crew. If you want to add me I'm GC: dkinnaley. I'll gift parts I don't need. Also, I couldn't find an answer, but do the prizes pay out to everyone in the flight crew or just the top individuals?
Is it more profitable to buy a ton of small cities to expand your reach right away, or to first buy a major city and go from there? My plan was to buy Chicago and then spread out, but I dunno if that's a good plan. Money-making is rather slow with only 3 airports...
Not to sound like a complete newb but what do we with the chemical spill global event in Calgary, deliver stuff there? I just unlocked the airport and am also in the Toucharcade flight crew
As someone who really disliked Tiny Tower (mostly due to it's theme), I have to say I'm really enjoying this game. There are some really cool ideas such as the real time day/night cycle, plane building and the social flight crew integration. I'm not sure if I'll like Pocket Trains so much, but if they ever release a Pocket Ships then I'll be on board
I love this game, especially how the game aircraft are really just renamed version of real-life ones. My little startup fleet now has 3 Airvans (essentially a Cessna 208 Caravan) and 3 Wallabys (de Havilland DHC-2 Beavers). I think it will be essential to keep a small fleet of these smaller commuter planes around even as your company grow into flying trans-oceanic routes with big jets, as they are good for Global Event trips as the event cares only about # of jobs flown by you and your Flight Crew (yes I'm in the toucharcade crew too), and the smaller planes can be used to fly many short trips for the event from other nearby airports, without you taking a big jet off the long $$$ generating routes.
Yes when you go to deliver something the map shows a green circle indicating the max distance the plane can travel
Anyone know if the TA crew wins does everyone receive 100 bux? That seems like a lot to give to everyone
Here's a tip - if you want to fly to an airport that's out of range, you can use an airport that's between the two airports as a stepping stone. This might be obvious to some, but I only just realised I could do this.
Yup that's why it's important to carefully buy airports so you can reach certain destinations like Calgary for instance
