Would there be a disadvantage to having one or two nearby class 1 cities feeding layovers into a class 1 hub?
(such as Beijing & Shanghai feeding layovers into a Tokyo endpoint city)

Or is it better to have one or two nearby class 2 cities feeding into a class 1 hub?
(such as Hong Kong & Harbin feeding layovers into a Tokyo endpoint hub)

The only disadvantage of using class 1 to feed class 1 would be the initial cost I think.

Running a Bunch of flights from the east coast to Mexico, then Santiago. Made enough to buy LA. Gonna close up class 1 ports soon.

Does upgrading airports increase the mount of jobs or does it just increase layovers and stuff like that?

Upgrading increases the amount of jobs and number of layover spots.

Started in Europe but branched out to S.America and hit Santiago earlier today for the event. My run now goes from Berlin all the way to Santiago through the east coast of Africa. Level 11 and I've now run about 50 loads for the event and am in 600th place of toucharcade, heh. Game is damn fun but controlling layovers and not filling up your airports is touch. Haven't upgraded any yet but I have 3 level 2 airports, still haven't built my first level 2 plane yet though.

How should I invest in Pearjets?

Currently I've upgraded 3 of them to have max range (3x upgrade).

One has no upgrade at all and another one is still under construction.

Should I upgrade them to make them more cost efficient? And many much upgrades should I do?

Yeah, I've been using Baghdad and Delhi as my 'gateways'.
All E/W flights stop at either one to drop off and optimize to go further. If destinations are Class 1's then its ok to fly in a mixed cargo, but i'll hold off on a full flight for bonus going to a Class 2/3. Just landed a 11k flight in Tokyo!

Also helpful to use other cities as sub gateways. All my Australia destinations get sub sorted in Singpore and Tokyo for all the Japanese cities (of course)

    Repeat in Paris/London for Europe/Africa.

I'm sure there is some reason they didn't do this.

I already have 10 more jobs in this event than the last one. Birchcrafts and class 2 help SO much :D

Not sure what to do now...

I'm almost level 14 and have 7 planes

    3x Birchcrafts
    4x Pearjets

Also have 1 Pearjust (just haven't built it yet).

Should I upgrade my current Pearjets or save bux for Aeroeagles?

Say I build that Pearjet, should I replace 1 of my Birchcraft or should I just buy a new slot?

If your airports have upgrades, then save up for Aeros. Otherwise, just upgrade the Pears because they take less time to fill up.

Also, I would just buy a new slot, as it creates extra profit

came in 9th in the crew for that last event, but i peaked at 7th. pretty fun, but i spent soooo much time playing that i feel like i wasted my days off. still, the rewards and the subsequent glitching helped me get closer to getting my 15th plane slot, and i've started hauling stuff to santiago (most anywhere in western europe to lagos, to rio, to santiago). it's nice that it's a class 2 airport because i was getting tired of using my class one planes.

    if anyone's got a pearjet-c body, i'd like that.

okay so i am having trouble deciding what airport to get next. i currently have:

    Honolulu
    LA
    Mexico City
    San Jose
    Orlando
    New York
    Quebec
    Nuuk
    Reykjavik
    Belfast
    Madrid
    Lima
    Santiago
    Recife
    Lagos
    Tehran
    Dhaka
    and Tokyo

Should I start moving into Australia or branch out more in Asia? (All of my planes are class 2 (birchcraft/pearjet/aeroeagle)) and a huey that goes from quebec to madrid

EDIT: just realized the huey can't get to reykjavik from nuuk.... off to the hanger it goes

Are your pears upgraded? Maybe get London bc you could do HNL to LA to NYC to London to Tehran.

I just said that because since Aeros have more slots, they may take longer to fill up. They also weigh more, so a flight that isn't filled with passengers/cargo going to the same place will net less profit than a Birch/Pear doing the same flight. I hope that made any sense at all xD
