Its my personal opinion that in games like this cheating might ruin all the fun but i dont have problem with others abusing it. That being said i do hope they can fix this glitch today otherwise people will end up with thousands of bux. Which also means nobody will use IAP and NB really deserve some money with such great game.
Agreed on all the above. I'm worried though, if this were a server side bug I'd imagine they would of fixed it already. The fact that it didn't happen during the first event and that there was a patch inbetween it and the second event suggests a client side bug... which means we could be staring at this reward screen for quite awhile. If thats the case, imagine what will happen when event three wraps up?
Hi, I've been browsing this thread for a while but I decided to make an account since I couldn't find this answer anywhere My airport in Barcelona closed because of "cows blocking the runway". I figured it'd go away in an hour or so, but it's been over a day. Does it go away by itself? Or do I have to the reopen fee if I want it back?

It's definitely a client side bug, which is an even bigger problem because it means anybody that wants to cheat will simply not install the update and keep abusing. Nimblebit will lose a lot of money here from people that want to pay money - those people will just abuse
If you go to Menu --> Events, it lists events (like cows and thunderstorms and snow storms) that would shut down your airports temporarily and also the amount of time it will last. I don't see anything for Barcelona, so your airport should be good to go, unless you actually chose to manually "close" it. That would mean that you lost that airport and would have to buy it again. ps. the events page also shows positive events you can work towards
I think a few/some/most of the people that were going to buy BUX to support NB, have already/will probably/will still buy BUX. NB made an amazing freemium game that actually does not require IAP, it's not-intuitve, but it is their fault to make it so. Personally, I finished Tiny Tower and still bought BUX near the end eventhough they meant nothing at the time of purchase. I still plan to buy BUX when class 3 planes hit to show support. It's frustrating from a gamers perspective because I had built up enough BUX to upgrade most of my fleet to Pearjets without the extra BUX, I have done so, but now see 499 BUX still staring at me and know that others that have spent less time playing will be joining the legitimate airplane tycoons. ps. while I typed this, game crashed, total now 534 BUX.
have you used the time glitch? i read something on the nimblebit page about them closing airports with odd reasons to penalise that cheat. you may have to pay to reopen.
Confirmed, it becomes more random after a bux purchase but its still there and happening randomly when i play the game.
How did you fly from Tokyo to Los Angeles with pearjet?? I just got my first pearjet but can't even fly from Tokyo to vancouver with upgrades
From Tokyo, you can't go East (to the right) to get to North America. You have to take the long way West (to the left). Which means you will have to go from Africa to South America OR London to NY (this route requires a fully [3x] fuel upgraded Pearjet).
Pit stops at other airports I would imagine? e.g. I fly from LA --> New York --> London --> Tehran --> Beijing --> Tokyo
