IMO it's better to pay for the upgrades to land in London, which is a class-3 airport with way more ppl around... Just my $.02

    Hello everyone,

I sarted playing PP 3 days ago, and I'm reading the forum since then. It took me a very long time to read all the 268 pages but i have to say there are really valuable tips here. So I don't regret reading all those pages. Thx to everyone contributes.

I started playing in Europe. So when I realized the crew thing and the Casablanca event I wasn't so far. I bought Barcelona, Cordoba and Casablanca and i made 154 jobs so far. Now I'm #758 in our crew.

    I was thinking to keep those airports after the event but after reading all the tips i realize that i have to get rid of class 1 airports quickly. I have only one class 3 airport (London) and collecting for Istanbul. Other airports are;

Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Munich, Venice, Rome.

    I retired my Bearclaw-P and Griffon-C. Now i have

    Wallaby-P
    Wallaby-C
    Kangaroo-C
    Kangaroo-M x 2
    Airvan-M
    Navigator-P
    Navigator-C
    Mohawk-M

I know you all busy people but i appreciate if you give me some tips on what to do next.

Sorry i forgot to mention; I'm now half of my level 10 15k coins and 57 bux

I was wondering if I could have some advice from anyone, not sure what I want my next move to be.

    Cities:
    Detroit
    Boston
    Seattle
    San Fransisco
    Casablanca
    Algiers

    Planes:
    2 Airvan-M
    Airvan-P
    Airvan-C
    Navigator-C (in hangar)
    p40 Warhawk (in hangar)

At the time of posting I'm 16,805 away from level 10.I'm looking for a way that I can hold off checking my planes every 5 minutes.

I guess it depends what you're doing after London. I pop off to Tehran, so whatever is in the middle doesn't really matter. Obviously i'll have to upgrade when that becomes a class 3 flight entirely, but I was happy to save the 54 bux to only have to upgrade my pears and aeros twice instead of 3 times for this run.

If London is the end point, then yeah, definitely agree.

It's rare even at level 18 like I am, to not have to check every 5 minutes just because of the staggered flights... You already seem to be doing a good job of spreading your airports out. I am assuming you can fly from your west coast airports to your east coast?

I just need general advice on what to do next. I am about 1k experiment level 8 with 10k in coins and 10 Bux. My daily average is 29k according to stats. I have finished the event in Casablanca and I am trying to close up all Class 1 ports and replace with Class 2 ports.

    My airports are
    ------------------
    Phoenix
    Kansas City
    Detroit
    Boston
    Montreal

    My planes are
    -----------------
    Wallaby-M
    Wallaby-P
    Airvan-C
    Airvan-M
    Navigator-C
    Pearjet-C

london's the end-point for a few pearjets here, but only because London Class-3 fully upgraded has a LOT of Bux missions ending stateside. I'm clearing 500 Bux/day easily by keeping all my pit-stop airports level 3 class-3's.
    mmm... bux...

The fogbusters and eagles go to moscow, and soon the fogbusters are headed for China

Sounds good. I might incorporate a 'jobber' aircraft into my Honolulu --> Tehran route, utilising all the good missions that occur inbetween. Sounds like you're a little ahead of me in level etc. as well, so I shouldn't really aim that high either!

Think i'll take that into consideration though. Especially when my craft can make the jump to London with ease anyway.

Anyone else having issues with Gamecenter achievements this morning (besides the transatlantic flight bug)? Flights to Easter Island haven't been updating for me, and I should be awfully close to 100 right now. Hasn't updated since last night...

Not quite with west to east, the Airvan-M is out there and while its fully upgraded in fuel,it can't quite make that trip;as soon as i hit level 10 then I'll probably by a Birch and start flying west coast to east coast.

I was thinking do above^ then buy LA or NY(then eventually buy which ever I don't choose first) and do that kinda route.Sound like a good plan?

Not much longer to go in this event, and I still haven't gotten a single Huey mystery part, which means I'll end up with 1 stinking useless part. Worst event yet. Hope the next one is better.

Yeah that's how I started, then I went south from LA to South America.

In the meantime, why don't you buy Kansas City in the middle? Doesn't mean you have to take jobs there (although if they fill a plane, why not) - but it means you can use it as a pit stop to fly from west --> east and back now instead of waiting.

honestly, the birchcraft airwing is really only stopping at my stateside airports to randomly make sure I don't miss huge transatlantic bux missions, and then ferrying them to LA for easy pickup on the bigger planes.
Also, keep an eye on your destinations' job list, even if you haven't landed yet. Often, an airport some flight is pretty close to has over 10 bux worth of missions about to get discarded in <1M—when this happens, I'll happily click the "speed this flight on" button and lose 2-4 bux to pickup another 10+ before the jobs changeover. Plus, quite often once I've loaded the outgoing jobs, the new jobs have even more bux missions... now my plane is packed full of bux, etc. I had an Eagle from London to Honolulu with 24 bux on it :D

Just like the real world, you gotta spend $ to make $ :D

Why would you end up with 1 only? It's the top 10 flight crews who gets the whole plane, not the top 10 contributors.

Good idea! Maybe I can make some money a bit quicker then and get this ball rolling. Thanks for the tips.

For this event, even the top prize is still just a single part.

Look again. The prize this time is just a part, not the whole enchilada. Quite lame, as I said when this event started. I was just hoping there would be more mystery parts so I'd at least be able to build one.
