I'm on iPhone or I would. But that's what I was eyeing and comparing with length of screen and about the same lol
You can't really go wrong, but what you're suggesting are definitely good ideas to progress. Getting rid of some of the 1 P/C planes would be good, and spreading out, whilst closing some airports is also a good idea. Not necessary all under 1 mil, but any that are inbetween two other, better airports you can close because they'll never get used.
I've just thought - the route me and you are doing Douglas - might it be easier to replace London with Madrid? It makes the route a lot straighter, and London will only really be acting is a stop off anyway.
I wouldnt wanna replace London with Madrid just because it's class 2. When you get to the class 3 planes you would just have to change back. Plus I have 1 class 3 plane in route anyways.
I spent about 208 bux getting 4 Aeroeagles, but you're going to spend more upgrading them to get their weight down to 5.1; 39 bux to get each to level 3 weight.
Hmmmm. I'm considering it - mainly because I don't have any class 3 planes, and it's probably a while before I make that leap. Means only need 2 fuel upgrades to reach as well, which for my whole trans-atlantic fleet would save me a fair few bux!
Awesome. That's next on my list of expansion then! Think i'm going to go all the way and have a mix between micro-managing (with small airports around the end points for layovers), and the long-hauls taking those layovers.
Excel Distance Checker Hi all, great forum! I have combined two previous docs shared in this forum (airport list and plane list) to create an excel doc that lets you enter/choose two locations and it shows you which planes can make the distance. Enjoy! http://www.mediafire.com/view/?s3m38eamp1abz4m Meow
I have a full Pearjet-P for trade. I'm interested in the Huey part at the current event's end. PM me if you are interested.
You, sir, are a gentleman AND a scholar! You get the OCD award Seriously, though, thank you! "License and registration, meow..."
Hi guys I've been looking through this thread and read that it's good to have a route that goes along a straight line. I've got one route that goes from LA to Buenos Aires. I've only been buying class 3 airports recently, but would it be worth buying Seattle to add to that line, or would I be wasting money?
Horizontal distance, actually. If you wanted to add a C2 airport to that chain, you'd make more money with Honolulu. You MUST upgrade it to Level 3 ASAP though, or you'll be waiting forever to fill planes my Honolulu--->Moscow airline is working great for now, though Just by waiting to fill planes, eventually the flights stagger well enough to keep most of them in the air at the same time. Mad money, too.
Long or Short? Is it best to have a clump of cities, for example the east coast (new York, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Detroit, Ottawa, montreal) or cities spread along all of north America and south America in a long line.
Where do you get the horizontal distance thing from? My LA --> Rio line was very profitable indeed - and if anything, my LA --> Tehran line is less profitable with the same planes
