Haha yea, the problem is I already upgraded it once. Guess I'll stick to my Casablanca - Paris - Istanbul - Karachi - Bangkok - Tokyo route for now. At least until this event is over, I think I'm actually doing ok. Transporting goods from Casablanca to either Paris or Istanbul back and fro works pretty well.
If you want to save bux, you can purchase Boston and use it as a hop to Madrid. This way, a PearJet will make it with only one range upgrade (although barely) . Also, if anyone is looking for GC friends, my username is sdkamer.

Level Hey what lvl do I need for a pearljet to do a transatlantic? I've been playing 2 days, am lvl 10 and still trying to learn the game. Any other tips would be a great help as well. I made a city at Casablanca and the city nearby to do the main event. What do i get when we (touch arcade) come in first place. Thanks
Pears and AEs both have level 3 weight redux and range. Only way to hit London from NYC on the cheap before Fogbusters.
Hey I need a bit of advice I've got a linear(ish) route from la to Tokyo via ny London Cairo Delhi Guangzhou with 6 birch 3 pear and 3 aero the pear and aeros both do trans flight my daily rev is 290k is but I feel I'm not maximising profits and am missing somet Any ideas would be welcome Also can afford another plane slot? Looking for aero c body. If anyone can help just not coming up on market
First, Thank you to everyone posting their ideas, current routes, and unfortunate mistakes. It has been very helpful since I've been reading this thread this pocket planes was released. I'm a little uncertain on what my next plans should be. My thoughts are wait and save for a Pearjet and the purchase london or go ahead and purchase RIO and Lagos. What's typically the best ROI? My current airports and planes are as follows; Level 13 Planes 2 - Birchcraft - P 1 - Birchcraft - C 1 - Kangaroo - M Airports New York Las Angeles Mexico City - level 2 Lima Buenos Aires
Anyone know if a PearJet will fully upgraded will make the Tehran -> Bejing or should I go Tehran -> Xi'an
Speaking from experience since you can see I went both ways that your thinking of. I would prefer to stay in a straight line aka Honolulu -> NY -> London -> Tehran etc.. Wish I didn't go down into South America. But totally up to you! Just my thought
I made several Transatlantic flights but Game Center doesn't regist it. How can I solve the problem, if I reset GC achievements, have I to make it all again?
I'm pretty convinced it will make Tehran --> Beijing... If you zoom out of the map to where you can still see the cities, the distance between NYC + London seems more than Beijing + Tehran... There's a distance calculate a fair few pages back where you put 2 cities co-ordinates from one page, into a calculator in another and it tells you distance to compare against your range.
I just started the other day and am only beginning to get to grips with the game. Not really sure where to go from now. Considering selling some of my lower-population airports and spreading out more - currently I am kinda clumped into Western Europe (with a branch going down to Casablanca for the event). Also considering selling my 1-p/c planes since they only go 500m. Current Airports Casablanca Barcelona Bordeux Lyon Bern Venice Munich Berlin Brussels Manchester Athens Current Planes Bearclaw-P Navigator-C Griffon-C Navigator-M Airvan-M Wallaby-P Parts Bearclaw-C Controls Navigator-M Controls (x2) Wallaby-P Engine Wallaby-C engine Might get rid of the Griffon-C and the Bearclaw-P, and close any sub-million population airports (Manchester, Venice, Bern) and Casablanca (done 109 jobs - don't need it anymore, right?). Would like to build a path from London to Tokyo first, I think.
