lol I had all of those airports and sold to ditch all the class 2 airports... NY has never gone down that I remember since I've been playing and it was one of my first airports! Think I'll buy Tehran! How many planes you have total flying? You wouldn't happen to have a Pearl C Body would you? Haven't seen in market the last 2 days...

 

Unbelievable bad luck - there's one in my market now but I can't afford it for you!

I've got 10 flying at present. I think it's 1 or 2 too many for my current routes, but I know i'm expanding to London / Tehran etc. fairly soon so just going to keep them running for now. Think i'll get London when I upgrade my Aeros, so i've got a P and C running LA --> London while keeping my current fleet doing LA --> Rio. Probably get rid of Mexico too because now i've upgraded to Pears they can do the trip via just Lima.

 

I have a Pearl C body and controls if you're interested in a trade, will take Aero parts.

Ok so here's my plan...

Routes

(1) Honolulu --> LA --> NYC --> London --> Tehran
(2) Seattle --> LA --> Lima --> Rio

Planes

(1) 2 x Birchcraft-M or Kangaroo-M. One serving Honolulu --> LA with Tehran layovers and one serving Seattle --> LA with Rio layovers

(2) 2 x AeroEagle (1 x P, 1 x C) serving LA --> Tehran (eventually hopefully 2 each)

(3) 8 x Pearjet (4 x P, 4 x C) serving LA --> Rio, eventually reducing this number as they upgrade to join the Aeros.

What do you think?

 

Sounds like a great plan. I can never keep my planes in certain spots for designated routes.. I always go somewhere else if the people are there lol

Well I'm exactly the same, so i'm thinking i'm going to re-name them... RIO01 for LA --> Rio, TEH01 for LA --> Tehran... HON01 and SEA01 for the layovers! Then I know, at the least, what route they're doing.

 

I don't get the whole layover thing.. you just take negative profit to drop people off so your big flights will always have people waiting and gain it back once you take them?

 

Layover also means you can get the 25% bonus more easily since they do not reset.

 

Well sometimes you take a negative yes - but the idea is that a plane that can only carry 4 cargo do a negative flight and drop off closer to their destination, so that a plane that can carry 6 cargo takes those layovers and gains 25% of all 6 of them and is also a faster plane.

 

Rio if your planes can reach it. Then eventually you can expand into Africa.

 

Can an Equinox or Birchcraft fully upgraded do Transatlantic?

 

I don't think they quite can, no. POSSIBLY NYC or Boxton --> Lisbon?? Can't say i've checked that one.

 

Umfortunately no. The cheapest and first plane to make the NYC to London is a PearlJet fully gas upgraded and it makes by like a millimeter lol

 

Looks like I can via South America to Africa. I'm forgetting the exact names of the cities right now...

Really need Pearl-C body if anyone can help.. Hasn't popped up in market in 2 days would really appreciate it!
