Hmm.. are they direct flights?
Have you upgraded the engine for shorter duration?
I think someone here mentioned in the forum that reducing the weight lowers cost = higher profits (though I haven't gone around to testing it myself).

 

I would imagine it's because the bux passenger isn't paying in coins. It costs coins to travel from one place to the other, so you're eating a coin cost to transport a person to get bux.

Someone call me stupid, but where do i go to buy it after it says i can buy a new airport?

 

Just click any city and you can buy it then. I too at first tried going through menus instead of just checking map :S

 

I'm also trying to figure this out. I haven't been able to get the game that I started on my iPhone to sync with my iPad. Any suggestions?

 

Get one of those 10m population city as soon as you can. Those will be your major source of income. At least for me right now

What do the different colors on the cities mean?

 

I think it means the population size of the city.

 

I read somewhere previously in the forum that there was a class ban? Like a certain type of plane couldn't enter? As such I've always skirted around the major major 10m cities... is that not the case?

 

Hmm. You do make a good point. Coz when I transport a bux payer, I get a negative amount in the profits (e.g -122 coins in red letters)

I too joined the touch arcade crew. Feel free to add me on gamecenter if you want, username is statnut. I'm at level five, what's the best way to get one of the big airports like ny? Just save, or pay to get new airplane slots?

 

Are there any ways to get money faster? It all just feels a bit too slow for me right now. And when can I hold more passengers?

 

I've hard closed the app and it seems to sync, but only sometimes.

NB, if you're there, the sound toggle is not working. It turns itself on randomly, sometimes goes back off if I exit and come back in.

As well the syncing is inconsistent at best.

 

Problems Building

I have all the parts, but I can't seem to build a plane.
I have two "Available" spots on my flight roster, and plenty of bux.
But it won't actually build the plane.

Anybody else have this problem?

ANSWER: Click on the Map after building to place the plane in a location.

 

If I need to fly a longer flight, I can route through airports to extend my range, yes?

 

Yup, I had to buy salt lake to get some of planes to Calgary for the event
