I tried using a couple of M planes in my fleet but found P/C easier to fill for some reason. I guess it's each to their own on their airline handling style.
Yeah I think that's best in the long run, because REALLY far into the future, you've got a pretty clean route between LA and Tokyo which will make mega bonuses on big planes! It's a lot cleaner route to the east anyway.
Ah ok. So basically I should develop the LA to Rio route first, then get NYC after that. I have 65 k right now, do you think I should start with Mexico City, or should I get Lima? Can a Birch make the hop from LA to Lima?
I don't think LA to Lima is possible in a Birch, unless upgraded and I think your bux could be better spent upgrading other planes. It might be a bit extreme to blow almost all your money on Mexico City, but that should be the next class 3 you go for definitely... This is all if you do want to go down that route - if you want to go the Rio --> Lagos route, then by all means do. You can't really make mistakes, just talking about my positive experience of doing it this way.
Yeah for sure. I appreciate the advice/info. The LA to Rio route is appealing, and once I make some profit off that, I will start with NYC and make the hop across the Atlantic at that point. I just remember some people were saying that you could make the hop from Rio/Recife to Lagos with a Birch, so I was considering that. Ill look at both and see what happens haha. Thanks again!
I have a full Pearjet-P for trade. I'm interested in the Huey part at the current event's end. PM me if you are interested.
Do we know yet if they are limits to the upgrades for airports and planes? I've heard that class 3 airport for example cannot be upgraded more than 3 times. And people, don't just do the 5 jobs in the global event city and then close your airport. Goddamn freeloaders...
To Russia, with Bux... Level 19 now, and really raking it in with three strategies running at once: 1. Transatlantic Ops: Honolulu to LA to NYC to London to Moscow: 1 Pearjet M, 1 Pearjet P, and 3 Aeroeagle M's. All airports in this chain upgraded to level 3 for extra passengers and more Bux missions. All 5 aircraft have upgraded range and lowered weight for more profit per trip. 2. U.S. - based runs in 4 Birchcraft M and P's and an Equinox, from Honolulu or LA to NYC over and over, also ferrying Bux missions to either NYC or LA for pickup by the Transatlantic flights. 3. Global mission crew: 1 Mohawk M, 1 Airvan C, and 1 Kangaroo M running constant deliveries to wherever the mission happens to be. Currently, they run nonstop from London to Casablanca and back. Oh, to save some money while running the global event, always upgrade whatever horrible class-1 airport the mission ends in to level 3that way you can usually recoup some of the return fare to the nearest class-3 hub. Unless there's more than one Bux item onboard, no plane EVER leaves the airport without being full and all headed to the same destination. Sometimes I have to wait 2 or 3 times for jobs, but the 25% bonus per passenger/cargo is well worth it when you fly halfway around the world Others have said this, but I'll say it again: prioritize Bux. Who cares if you lose a few potential coins here and there when your biggest issue is usually not enough green? Works for me, about 450,000 coins and 600-700 Bux/day so far.
I have 129k and can make 100-400k daily, what should I do with the money? I have airports in San Francisco Los Angeles Phoenix Dallas Atlanta Miami Washington Toronto Detroit Boston New York Paris London Casablanca Madrid Algiers Should I focus on getting more planes? Upgrading airports even though they're all class 2 or higher.
This sounds interesting... what do you gain by upgrading the horrible class 1 airport? Hmmm... I've got 1 Kangaroo and 1 Airvan ferrying C/P between Madrid (c2) and Casablanca. ... now I'm thinking I'd do much better with your strategy of ferrying between London (c3) and Casablanca. I've only upgraded planes and they seem to have only 3 levels of upgrades. I need to save up more coins before I can upgrade a city (even a class 1 city, sigh...) Not freeloading here, doing my small part, 576 jobs so far (#27 in crew)
Pare down a tad, man... IMO it's time to pare down to Class-3 only, and try to line 'em up. Upgrade the two farthest from each other to level 3, and see if you can swing an Aeroeagle M or two to upgrade range and carrying cap. Working well for me, anyway. FYI, I have only 5 airports right now, not counting Casablanca, which I will sell in a hot minute right after I get my prizes You have waaaay too many airports, methinks. Remember, you only get so many jobs per 4 minutes per airport, so you want LESS options for those job spawns if you want to fill large planes faster. At any given stop, you have 15 other potential destinations for jobs. I have 5. Guess who fills single-destination planes quicker?
Less empty planes back to London, that's what! I just hate losing money sending empty planes back from the global mission endpoint is all. Level 3 airports have more missions, even if they're class-1. Also, from what I've seen, level 3 class-1's have more chance of spawning Bux missions, too... I don't mind ferrying bux missions back from Casablanca to London for a Pearjet to haul to Honolulu, etc. From that range, bux missions are worth 5-6 apiece. Win.
Wow, g/j I've only done around 475 at the moment... Might have to step it up a tad to cover all the freeloaders, lol.
