I cannot wait till the event ends! I might even buy some BUX so I can buy parts to trade with people offering Huey parts for trade! Around 300 jobs completed... I am done. Time to start 3rd local event
What are the benefits to the non-global events by the way? Do you have to complete 1000 to get something? Do you just get more valuable jobs? Or is it just for the added interest in the game?
Sorry wanted to clarify. I meant (in your case) of having a fleet of 5 x Birch-P and 5 x Pear - P. Would that potentially be more cost efficient than having a fleet of mixed Birch-P and Birch-C (or of course including Birch-M into the mix)?
I am wanting P-40 engine and controls! I have tons of AeroEagle and PearJet parts for offer. PM me if interested.
Sorry! Must have misunderstood... It's DEFINITELY more efficient to have a mix of P and C. Whether your preference is all P and C or a few M's in there is up to you - but if you alienate a whole type of job, you're literally halving your opportunities.
I wonder if the best layout won't just be two fully upgraded Class 3 airports at the maximum range and a fleet of planes flying between them in staggered order. Since there's only one other airport, *every* job will be for that airport. So every trip will probably be max bonus unless the game does something silly like only cargo sometimes for the entire listing while you have mixed planes. I guess in such a case, the best fleet is a mix of Ps and Cs. Just go down in order and fill up on all their types. When you run out, start on the other type and wait 5 minutes.
The only problem with this strategy is that two fully upgraded, even advertised, airports will not be able to sustain a very large fleet of, say, Cloudliners.
I'm halfway through level 12, About to start buying new planes. Birchcraft or Equinox? Not sure, But I'm leaning towards Birchcraft, Just for the extra spot it has.
Do jobs completely refresh on the 5 min refresh? If they do, I can see supporting about 5 planes in each direction every 5 minutes if you're willing to wait. Edit: Oops, I thought cloudliners were 10 cap. They're 17 cap. So more like 3 per direction.
Nice! I was checking the leaderboard for #toucharcade and look what I saw as of 2:16pm Pacific (June 22, 2012). VERY NICE! I hope you stop at that score Tempting isn't it?
Hello! I got this game about a day after it came out, and i'm loving it! I've been looking on this thread for a while, getting tips and stuff for Pocket Planes, but now i've just signed up. I enjoy the game, but i'm not very good at planning ahead or organising! Haha! So, I hoped some of you guys would give me some tips. I'm currently Level 10 Airports I have (I began in Europe) : Belfast Manchester Amsterdam Brussels Berlin Prague Munich Bern Lyon Venice Bordeaux Casablanca Algiers Planes I have: Navigator C Navigator P Supergopher C Supergopher P Anan M Mohawk M Kangaroo C 2 x Wallaby P Birchcraft P And in the hangar I have 2 griffons and 2 bearclaws. I can't really use the Birchcraft P that often, as I only have 2 2nd Class airports; Berlin and Algiers, which is a problem. So, I just wondered where to go from here. Also, If you close an airport do you get the same amout of money back as it cost to open it, or less? Thank you!
