Depends how you play. If you're on the game constantly, that might pay off more. If you can't be turning your planes around every couple of minutes, you can make a lot more by making long bonus flights that turn around every hour or two. If you play like that, but with bursts of more constant play, it helps to have a mix (like large distant airports, and smaller ones concentrated around the event, to which you want close airports anyway to maximize deliveries).

Disagree. Since the Bux and the 25% bonus all are higher for longer flights its more profitable to complete the longest flight not the shortest. Plus, its also more profitable to work out of 10m class 3 airports, which can be done more efficiently if spread out. If you want to sit there and micro-manage constantly then its definitely the most fun way to play but to maximize you want to set nice long flights and then return upon their arrivals 1-2 hrs later.
How do you 'do' other events besides the global ones? Earlier there was one for Bismark (gold rush), but there didn't seem to be a way to contribute to it

True. So i guess it is the playing style. Coz I notice that people just keep asking how to level up easily, how to make profit quickly etc. So I just suggest the straightest way is to fly short instead of long.
For short flight, I don't mean to ignore the bonus and bux. You can still have that in your flight consideration. I always choose my passanger for the bottom of list instead of of the top.
Birchcraft is 10, Equinox 12, and Mohawk comes after Kangaroo (Mohawk at 8 and Kangaroo at 6 or 7 I believe.
It worked for you? Did you lose any data? I'm sooo close to level 16 and losing all my progress would be devastating!
I notice that the new upgrade (1.0.3) allows you to turn iCloud sync on and off. Does this mean you can now run two different games on two idevices or does Game Center still screw things up (can it handle two game on one account)? I'm thinking about resetting Pocket Planes on my iPhone and running a new game with iCloud sync off. Hopefully this shouldn't mess up my main game on my iPad. Anybody tried this yet?
I think I have a question someone hasn't answered, if you buy a costume does it stay unlocked or do you have to buy it over again for each bitizen?
