I've seen people talking about mystery parts. Can anyone explain what these are? Are they like bux jobs but ou get a part instead? Thanks in advance guys!
I would probably recommend upgrading them because this gives you a more permanent change and less micro-managing. (I havn't tried advertising before)
Advertising seems too short term. I upgraded Algiers (for instance) because I starting running out of layover slots for Casablanca. I like upgrading better, but I've only upgraded one or two of my airports.
Is it worth upgrading Birchcrafts? Gets spendy doing 7 bux per upgrade.. I just had 220 bux and did some upgrades and knocked me down to 88 bux.... So do you guys upgrade your planes or did i just waste hella bux
Well, you can only upgrade an airport twice, so you should definitely do that to class 3 cities you are sure you're going to keep in your main operation route. Advertising is temporary, and can be stacked on top of a level 3 airport for an insane amount of jobs (probably not even remotely necessary until you have planes that can hold 10+). Advertising is good for event cities, though, since they seem to be in crappy class 1 airports, and you will probably close them once the event is over with.
I think it is definitely worth upgrading them if you plan on making them part of your main operation for a significant period of time. I find Birchcrafts to be the most well rounded planes for a large portion of the game, so I upgraded all of mine quite a bit.
Regional operations Here's a thought. I think this game needs a way to set up regional operations. If, for instance, I have my hubs in the US but open up an airport in Australia, people in Sidney will want to go to L.A. all the time. This pollutes you jobs lists and possibly reduces local jobs. There should be a way to flag an airport as 'regional', so that it only offers jobs in, say, the same continent. So you could run a side operation far away from where you started. Eventually you could switch those airports back to 'worldwide' (this would cost a few bux, I imagine) when you're ready to connect the dots. Yay? Nay?
And I forgot to mention that the advertising price is usually quite low in these cities since they are so small.
Really in need of: - Birchcraft-P - Birchcraft-C NEED REAL BAD THESE COUPLE KANGAROOS ARE KILLING ME.. Please send my way if your parting ways with or can offer the help! Thanks a bunch Can never have too many friends add me! GC: ^ Douglas ^
