Most profitable flight? I earned ~21k for a single flight last night but my leaderboard still hasn't updated. Mexico City > Seoul (layover) > Tokyo. Am I doing something wrong?
I bought Cordoba and Casablanca today to help out with the event and I have only had 2 people so far all day that popped up in the airport... and I have 3 planes over there.. fml
I think it's best to make your way across the map naturally instead of forcing your way into an event. Events like these really do effect your overall progression, in that you would probably not normally have ANY class 1 airports at all, so you're airports are filling with some useless jobs. Thats why when you progress naturally, you can at that point afford a dip for a day or two.
How much are people making an hour? I'm now lvl 12, nearly 13 with only 6 airports, but all class 3 across USA and South America. Got 6 birchcrafts and 3 equinox aircraft and i'm making about 2.5k per plane, so about 23k an hour. How does that stack up to everyone else?
What I've been doing is buying the event airport and one next to it, then pulling a plane from my hanger and placing it on the airport next to the event. Do my 5 shipments then shut down the non-event airport and place the plane back in the hanger. Wait for next event. The event rewards so far have been pretty amazing. Worth spending a few k in coin and a few bux for the plane storage.
Yeah that makes sense - I must have mis-read your post, but then having read it again, didn't realise you were doing the 5 shipments thing! I've been doing the same.
The team competition thing is really kind of bogus. Soon *everyone* will be on the TouchArcade team, because TA is winning them. If you're on the team, and you participate in the city, you get stuff. You get less stuff if you're not on the winning team. So soon 400+k people are going to be on TouchArcade team, the vast majority of which will not even know what TouchArcade is. LOL!
Oh, nonstop is autopilot to me. There is no plane that can fly directly from Mexico to Seoul, not even the Starship. Why? Do flights need to be "nonstop" in order to register on the 'most profitable flight' leaderboard? I didn't feel the need to list the entire route because it seemed unnecessary. The passengers came from Mexico, they were layovered in Seoul, and loaded onto a different plane headed to Tokyo.
Except you can't see the names of the other flight crews. So unless you already know what TouchArcade is, you won't know to join us. Also, it seems like the top 10 teams get almost the same reward, so no need to really ferret out who the top team is and join it.
They don't need to be nonstop, but you pay an arm & a leg for each layover/jump with heavy planes. Did you make 20,000 coins upon arriving, or make 20,000 coins in profit?. I think the achievement only counts if you make 20,000 in profit.
If you are even remotely competent with the Internet, you can easily figure out toucharcade is #1. That's what I did.
Haven't gotten that far yet, and you cannot in-game, but irl a fairly powerful passenger aircraft can easily fly Across the pacific non-stop. Maybe not Mexico - Seoul, but pretty far. When we have been planning a trip to S. Korea, the standard trip is San Francisco to Tokyo, then Tokyo to Seoul.
Pearjets I was wondering if anyone could kindly give me some spare pearjet parts or whole. Any kind would do. Add me on gamecenter W1ngsofH3ll and write pearjet. Note my id after W its a one and after H its a three
