I'm sure this has already been said, but I found an answer to the "how xp is calculated" question. This was answered by a nimblebit employee on a website I shall not name. But anyways, "The XP you get is directly related to the coin value of a flight. So for example a passenger pays you 200 coins to fly them from one airport to another then you will earn 200 XP. Passengers/cargo that pay in bux give 500XP per bux you are paid."

Ok. Received my Warhawk and 10 Bux almost immediately after the Brisbane event ended. Didn't expect to receive the Warhawk, thought i'll just get a Warhawk part and 3 Buxs for being in the Top 100? Done close to 600+ jobs and ended at #39 i think. What did you guys get for those who did just 5 jobs?
It's based on flight crews, not your rank in the flight crew. As long as you did 5 jobs you got the 1st place prize.

I lost all my progress as a level 8 in south Africa... iOS 6 downgrade caused me to not be able to restore my game. Or I'm just to lazy to restore it manually. Either way I started over and am already level 7 in east coast USA. Just doing my part for Toucharcade flight crew delivering Boxing Gloves and Wood Chips to Charlston, SC. Woot woot!
do laid-over people ever go away? is there any reason to feel rushed to clear them out (other than their little pixely feelings)? i've got a few people laid over here and there, and it would be a pain in the butt to get to that airport just to get them to their destination...considering my planes are busy hauling crap to casablanca now. the thing is, i never played tiny tower, but i heard one thing people really like about it was that it didn't really punish you for not doing things. are there any downsides to, for example, never flying anyone to one of my open airports? i've got a few that are a little out of the way now, and i'd rather just ignore them while i'm busy with other flights. other small questions...should i worry about my ipad's save syncing and then overwriting my iphone's save? i wish they were synced up, but my phone is where i always play and i'd probably just stop altogether if that save got lost. and are other people having achievement issues? some of mine went away, and many of them are not registering. they'll probably work this out in a future update...

Just wanna point out one thing. Is there anyone notice that the SHORTEST you fly, the MORE you earn? So indeed, to become a avation tycoon all over the world, is it better to be a localized one? (Of coz, the aim is to earn as fast as it can be)
Yay, I'm able to do the Casablanca global event cuz I'm based in Europe and managed to expand toward Casablanca from Madrid. I got a late start today and have only managed 114 event jobs so far (#46 in crew), but I expect this to increase over the next few days. I posted something earlier this morning and couldn't find a response (prolly cuz the post got buried way back on page 189). I was wondering if anybody could help. I'm afraid to sync my iPad and I have not synced it at all since I installed PP on it.
