I haven't unlocked the Pearljet yet (I'm level 13) but I didn't let that stop me from making trips across the globe. I started out on the west coast of North America and created a network between the west and east coast. But then I realized that wasn't making money fast enough so I sneaked into Mexico and continued to go east as far as possible. Here's the route I have so far that can be done easily with Birchcraft planes with no upgrades. My goal was to travel as far as possible by unlocking the least number of class2+ cities. San Fran->Mexico City->Bogota->Recife->Lagos->Riyadh->Dhaka->Seoul And if it hasn't been posted yet, a useful map of all the cities http://i.minus.com/ikG4laQCJ0kfz.jpg
Advice Anyone got the secret Huey part yet? By the way to the people wondering about getting Casablanca and looking to make a long term profit, I would reccomend saving up for Casablanca, Madrid, Algiers and Barcelona and buying them all at once, from there your investment will pay for itself, they're al; class 2 except for Casablanca, from there the expansion north to Paris , London and other highly crowded areas is simple and well in range for any planes, hope this helps you guys out!
Range spreadsheet I've been trying to figure out how to create an "airplane range" database/app. I threw together this working prototype in GDocs. I've populated the range info for the Anan starting/ending in Phoenix. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Amw6Scmq7D_ddGl3elItYzBhOUZrWnhCYlVTV25IdEE With the number of route/plane combinations this approach will likely need to be migrated to an actual database. Thoughts?
Huge undertaking, but it would end up like one of those array charts that looks like a huge set of stairs where you have all the names of all the cities on both axis, then you have colors to designate if the plane reaches. Its gonna be crazy once you take into account upgrades...
Barcelona, Algiers and Madrid, all 3 before you get Casablanca, if you want a long term investment that will help you out extremely
Because they are 4 closely linked airports, and within great range is Paris and London, within that area there are clusters (massive ones) of a variety of Class 1 and 2 airports, so your getting your Casablanca but your getting along term investment for your expansion in Europe and when you go overseas between North America and Europe, they can be easily connected. Its a good investment for Europe buisness and later on when you get a better fleet, over sea buisness
Hey fellow flight crew members. I added this before but no one helped me I'm level 13 with 8 plane slots and 9 airports. I started out in the western US. My airports include: New York, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Chicago, Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and Mexico City Airplanes include: 3 Kangaroo-M 3 Birchcraft- 1 P,C and M 2 Airvans 1 P and 1 C I'm wondering what to do from here any help? I currently have 123 plane bucks stored for Pearjets. Is that enough? Any other ideas? Also I have 15,726 coins. New airplane slots? Help!!!
123 bux is enough to get you... I'd say 2 Pearjets max, if you buy them in parts. They cost 79 bux whole, 56 bux in parts. And that 15K won't buy you anything useful; you need a decently string of major cities for Pearjets to be profitable. I'd recommend saving up for Madrid and Tekran, and then upgrading a Pearjet or two to +10% range. Then you can chain Los Angeles to Tekran, and get huge 6+ bux jobs.
Where the heck is Tekran? I've been looking up unknown cities to me since I started this game but for the life of me,I can't find this one.
Maybe he meant Tehran? Sweet, thanks for the explanation. I saved up a TON of coins the past day, so buying the airports shouldn't be a problem. -- Another question: Should I just sell Sydney and Melbourne? It doesn't seem like it's really worth it anymore. Expansion into Asia seems difficult/not worth it.
