I ended up selling Brisbane. Kept Melbourne, Sydney, and Broome. They connect to Jakarta, Singapore, Mumbai, and into North Africa/Europe. I also have London/Boston to connect for transatlantic flights, so planning ahead paid off for me thankfully. I'm sure by time this current event is over, I'll have a good 4 airport slots and plenty of cash to further expand and connect. Best part is it hasn't detracted from contributing to the TA crew or having fun.
Thanks for the reply. I'm a level 7! Do you or anyone else have suggestions for planes? I have a bearclaw p, griffon c, supergopher p, navigator c, wallaby p, and anan m. Since I'm level 7 I think I'll buy a kangaroo m and later on start to close my small planes.
We did, but there are a LOT of awards to hand out. If you still don't have it tomorrow, tell NimbleBit
In all honesty, one thing that's helped me out big is following this thread and retaining bits and pieces from other users trial & error, feedback, and experiences which I'm very thankful to the TA community for. Being patient with every move and incorporating my own ideas with it all is how I got to this point. It's given me a solid understanding of how I want to continue to build.
Does anyone have any tips on transatlantic flights? I just got my first pearljet, but every time i try to make a flight across the ocean, my flights make me lose money...
Help!!! I have 5 basic Class 1 planes. My airports are Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, and Munich. I need a good way to get money, I only have 7.9k. I also want to get to Casablanca. I can buy 1 airport only though. PLEASE help ASAP. GC- Jai127
Also remember that once you get your cargo/passengers over the ocean, transporting them to their final destination will net you a much larger profit than an intercontinental flight would. For example: Bringing a passenger from LA who wants to go to Paris may cost -500 for the flight to London, but may net you +600 more from London to Paris than a regular person from London who wants to go to Paris (Numbers are to be used only as a comparison)
