Now I'm a little confused... The contest was a little different because the prizes were for 1st, 50th and 100th at 12:01am. If you scored 990, you would have fallen between 50 and and 1st probably around 15th place or so. I thought by spreading out the prizes, it may keep more interested in playing. Next time I do a contest, it will be for the top 3. Does that help clear it up?

Congrats iANiMeX! You did it again?! In the end it was too hard to try to land in exactly 10th spot as I cannot tell who on the leaderboard is in the contest timeframe but only able to estimate with "this week's" high scores. But the games are excellent. They do have a steep learning curve and very challenging to score high.
I really think it's pretty amazing that you tried to land exactly in the 10th place. That takes a lot of skill and planning. The only problem I think that your score may have been recorded just a little too late. I took a screenshot of the leader-boards. I think you must have submitted your score shortly after I closed the contest at 12:00 PST. Sorry about that, but thanks for playing so hard.

iOS 5 and Pocket Passer QB Performance To the Pocket Passer QB faithful. I just received and email from a regular PPQB player who upgraded to iOS5 on his iPhone 4 and is now having difficulties throwing the ball. It is taking him 3-4 swipes to do so. I have tested iOS 5 on my iPad 1 and it is OK. Are any of you having difficulties with performance and iOS 5? Thanks for any feedback
I am having the same issue on my iPhone4 iOS5. Game gets a little slow and I can't throw the ball. Throws once in a while though. You need to swipe and swipe until it throws the ball. My iPad2 doesn't have this issue.
PPQB Update Coming I tracked down the lag issues and have submitted an update to the App store. Hopefully it will be accepted next week. I believe the overall smoothness will be much better even for iOS 4 with the iPhone 4G and iPod Touch. Thanks!
NFL Flick Quarterback and Pocket Passer QB Hey all. Full Fat just released their NFL Flick Quarterback passing game which is the game of the week on the app store. It's a very beautiful game and has 3D receivers instead of targets. In some ways it is what I was hoping to do in the future if I ever made enough to support development of Pocket Passer QB 2. It's an interesting case study between a shoestring one man labor of love which is Pocket Passer QB and a large talented development team, NFL license and funding which is NFL Flick Quarterback. It also shows how being a large developer helps you get featured on the app store easier. That being said, I still believe Pocket Passer QB still has plenty to offer. I feel Pocket Passer QB's game modes are stronger, more challenging and the passing mechanic holds its own. I think it also may have more gameplay. I've really appreciated all of your support for Pocket Passer QB. When you speak of or review NFL Flick Quarterback, please don't be shy about mentioning Pocket Passer QB. Any exposure helps.
