I'm dying to see the 8 new characters UPDATE: I've noticed that Demolition Dan is not as radical as it was before: the 2 grenades that came out from each exploded crate don't come out any more, only the first 2 grenades. Does this happen everywhere, or only in the High Peaks soecial level?
Ugh I just noticed. This update has now become pretty bad. I'll never be able to beat your outrageous scores now. Great.. This is often why when I find something amazing I don't post it because once it gets too much attention people will nerf it. That's a HUGE nerf. There's no more chain reactions. and I can't reach my distance like before.
I just have to ask, am I really expected to keep up with the trade center??? I received 220 requests overnight last night and today I have received over 170. Isn't that just a tad too many?
I have over 500.. since I haven't checked for a couple days. That's why I asked for a clear all. Since it's so easy to request, people can do it infinitely. The only other option is to limit requests to maybe 3 a day or something to that extent.
The 2 grenades only appear with the box you hit directly, not with the rest, but now the pick doesn't get extra damage for hitting a box, it just gets -1 as with a standard box, compensating a bit the fact that there are less grenades released. Even though I don't get as many chain reactions as before, I still get quite deep. I just need to think how to get more grenade crates and more grenades per crate. I'm sure there are better cards and objects than the ones I use. As much as I dislike it, I think they've made character abilities more even. Now I feel I need to check other characters and see how they perform and what they offer. Before, I had all the slots except Demolition Dan for decorative purposes, since I got much, much deeper with him than with any other character. I guess this is what soft launches are for: test and polish for the final release. As for my deepest distances, I guess they could reset all boards before the final release, we'll see. One other thing I've noticed is that the two "cartoon characters" (the mummy and duck) now cost 5 gems instead of 10k-20k bank notes. I would have never spent bank notes on those because I earned enough just to upgrade pickaxe and fuse cards. Now I might buy them. Performance wise, it seems this new version is much smoother on my 4S and on my iPad 3, specially since there are less explosions going on screen. I still like the game a lot, even though Demolition Dan's less destructive abilities was a letdown. Nonetheless, I still got to the end of level 4 in the new cave which granted me 5 gems and (I think) 200 green cubes. So you can get quite deep with the new Demolition Dan. @Devs: there is a SERIOUS BUG with friend trading. I went to the Friend Center today and saw I had many presents which I had requested yesterday. I clicked on "claim all" and after a minute thinking the game crashed. The bad part is that there is no sign of those objects in my collections and the "claim" messages are not there any more. I'm sure it has to do with having a lot of friends/trades in the list, and it's not a connection issue (I'm on wifi and I navigate without a problem), but it's frustrating to see all the presents lost. Now what do I do? Ask for them again? People are not going to be happy ti see the same request again
@VirtualBoyFreak Perhaps having the +100% treasure crates and items with +% crates might help with the Grenades setup as treasure crates do not count as a "hit" when tapped on. As for finding artifacts, below is my setup. Hope it helps with finding artifacts! @talf Is there a way to report hackers? I received a gift of 16777k artifact today, pretty sure it's a hack. Also, does anyone know what's the hidden achievement between "Help Friends" and "Chain Reaction" thats worth 20 pts? It's the only one that I have left to complete all 31 achievements. Would appreciate the help thanks.
One question for devs: if I equip a "100% more grenade crates" card, a "100% more grenade crates and 2/3 grenades per crate" card and a "50% more grenade crates" gear, do I get 250% more grenade crates, 150% more grenade crates or 100% more grenade crates? In other words, do card % and object % accumulate, or does the game take the highest object % and makes the others useless?
@VirtualBoyFreak Considering that Precious Industry and Precious Salesman do stack up. eg. 100% + 100%= 200%, I believe the grenade crates do stack up therefore it will be 250% rather than 150%.
I'm not sure about it. I've tried, but when I play with all grenade increasers I find I don't get as many grenade crates as when I play with other cards which don't increase grenades
Does anyone know why I get this every time I try to ask for an object since 2 days ago? My GC friends don't have the game, but I have a ton of friends added through in-game and get hundreds of daily object requests. The problem is I can't request anything.
Everytime I login to the game I click game center and then the more games button. Usually that will solve my friends problem. Hope it helps
Yeah I have the similar problems at times too, thought it was my internet. Guess not haha. Also, even when I 'unfriend' someone they still continue to send me requests and whatnot. Would be better if 'unfriend-ing' someone will affect the other user too.
Hi Shyft, can you tell us what's making you unhappy exactly? We've set a daily limit for trade center requests. Available in the next update! We knew about the "claim all" lag, but it's the first time that I heard that some artifacts are lost. We'll definitely look into this. Thanks for reporting. It's a hack indeed. We're looking for a solution so they don't ruins people's experience. Card stats don't stack together, but gear's one do stack with cards (and gears). In you example, you'd have 150% more grenade. We've been trying to find the proper way to communicate this.. As a first step, we've done a Help menu. The menu will contain this kind of information (card & gear stats, ore values, ...) It means that we weren't able to fetch your friends list. When it happens, can you please confirm me that you don't see any friends in the "Friends" menu (the boat icon.) We'll investigate this issue (and set a proper message that explains what's happening)
If you unfriend someone, you should not receive any request from that user. It might be a bug. There's also a "mute" feature that does ignore a friend's request. You could give it a try until we fix the unfriend.
I see friends in the boat icon. I'm going to try and log off from Facebook, because it might be an issue with that. I'll let you know.
Hi there, I would also like to confirm that I cannot see anyone in my friend's lists. I also cannot tell if unfriending someone will stop them from spamming me with artifact requests because I cannot see who is on my friends list.
I've had the same issue with friends still requesting after removing them. It's not so much a problem with the game (though of course, it technically is) more so with people that don't seem to want to play the game themselves and would rather we collect every artifact for them lol. Rant over! It's definitely a shame that the grenade dude has been nerfed. I'd say it was fine mostly as you could only use him in one slot and therefore only once every so often. If anything, it would make me more likely to pay money to get the gems so I could use him more often. Other than that, still really happy with the performance improvements and the game in itself.
