No it's not. Did it get fixed after rebooting the game? If not, re-installing the game will fix it. As for the 5th challenge island, it's just a "coming soon" location (with the label missing). It'll be fixed in the next update.
Deleting & reinstalling the game worked. Now I have an advantage, because with the buggy new block presentation, I saw all the level structures and where you set many special blocks
In the challenges you can only manipulate the gear you wear. I go for stronger explosions, drill hits 3-5 times more, chance of lightning/shockwave, etc. Secondly, I reshuffle the cards until I get good ones or reshuffling is over 1k, whatever comes first. And finally, if I die at a distance near the 3-medal objective, I continue with gems, but never over 3 continues because price increases exponentially. I have yet to create a gear with the new elemental attributes... But I admit I prefer having those new extremely rare crystals than spending them
Any tips on loadout to beat the "Terrifying" mines? They are ultra-difficult. It's the first time I'm unable to beat the weekend hard challenges. I'm using golden cards: crystal explosive, bomb and lightning. All maxed out.
I've finally beaten the last stage of Terrifying with the loadout below. It may have been just luck though, as I've been trying a lot of things since yesterday and reaching very different depths for a same loadout on each attempt. I'm not so sad now that I missed last week's prize, as the lvl 10 Skeleton Mask is pretty disappointing: detects rock blocks in a 6 block radius and +20% more powerful explosions Are these stats randomly generated upon getting the gear or the same for everyone?
I finally did it with this loadout. For me, a key factor was the 3-4 stronger lightnings combined with the XX% more lightning crates. It changed from impossible to more or less accesible.
PM2 is much better IMO: more challenges, mines, quests, and more chances to win gems. In the first one it was impossible to win premium currency.
Last night's update on iOS was the best update performance-wise I've seen on ages. The game runs smooth as silk now on my 4S. Congrats devs! On a side note, I tried the tablet mode on the 4S and it's sooooo tiny
@talf Bug report. When you have a 100% completion in adventure mode, it shows 0% completed. See image attached. It's a minimum bug, just so that you take note for a future big update
