I'm enjoying the new features a lot. Finding letters makes me want to replay more the levels. I played the first memory game this morning when I woke up (my "day" resets at 10 a.m. local time) and the second one just now. I made the first one perfect, but in the last one I got killed fast (only 1000 bucks achieved). The only weird thing I think happened was that this morning, I think I had to spell one word, but the first letter I found was of another word, and then I found myself having to spell that second word. Not much problem, and I'm not sure if it really happened that way or I was too sleep and read a word wrong. If it happens again, I'll be paying more attention. Nightmare level is amazing, but I find myself dying too fast. I'd really wish another permanent IAP to increase batteries a bit more, specially since I don't use rubies to recharge them (and using x2 batteries to play these levels won't make me do that either ). I'll keep on trying to beat the level, but it's a nightmare! On a side note, what happens with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays? I'd love to have 24h events those days. Now we have: Daily: Monthly mine, lucky hit, memory game. Mondays: Labyrinth, Time travel (I don't remember its name, but it's the mine from previous events, to gather objects from them). Friday + Weekends: Nightmare + Dungeons. I know this structure promotes playing during the weekend, i.e. students and similar, but those of us who work and just have time to spare after the kids have gone to bed would rather have events more spaced In any case, I'm really happy with the game and all the updates. Stability is better after every update (I'm playing on my 4S only lately) and all the features keep me interested in playing. Congratulations & keep it up
Hmm crystal frenzy huh? Never would have thought to use that. I'm currently using Dan along with pick durability, super grenade, and super bomb. I can't get past the third level of the nightmare mine. Any helps, thoughts or hints are appreciated ;-)
You need at least one type of drill... And get lucky enough so that they don't always hit an unbreakable! I did it with super grenades + super drills + super explosive drills.I By the way, as a suggestion : it would be awesome to be able to mix characters for rubies. Like Dan with more hits or more cash etc.. Or create new characters.
Oh yeah that makes total sense. I was thinking about adding a drill but they were all in use with other characters and I didn't have enough energy to change them around. Thanks - I'll give that a shot.
Thanks for the feedback. For the events: Tuesday = Tourist Tuesday (time travel) Wednesday = Crystal Galore Thursday = Precious Galore There's also Chest Galore on Fridays, and Ruby Stash on Saturdays.
Ah, I see. I hesitated between Monday and Tuesday reg the Tourist Tuesday, I was proved wrong. I also tend to forget the crystal and precious galores because they are very expensive to play on and I never play. Thanks for clearing it up. As for monetization, the Tourist Tuesdays are okay at 1 ruby/game IMO, as the carbon mine at 1 ruby/game. The others are too expensive, specially 5 rubies/game of the precious galore. Of course, this is always from a perspective of someone as me, who's not too keen on consumable IAP's and usually play and spend rubies just with what I achieve in game. I guess that if you don't mind spending a few bucks a week on rubies you're ok with this setting. Hmm, never thought about it either. I use the previous frenzy card, but it's true that crystal frenzy is more appropriate because of depth... Will try that as soon as the batteries recharge. What about combining gear to get a random new gear which is better than the combined ones? I get tired of recycling them one by one...
With the setting you can see here I've just finished level 4 of the nightmare mine. I had just one hit left, so I'm not sure if I'll achieve level 5 with this loadout...
I found that Metal Frenzy worked well in the Labyrinth due to all the metal. (Not for cash value, but for more metal and more explosive metal. I'm using both Metal and Crystal Frenzy for Nightmare... Oh, and I've switched my +40% stronger explosions for and Alien Eye Piece with +90% more Grenade Crates and Detects ore veins which lets me see where the explosive crystals are!
Just finished the 5th part of the nightmare mine with this setup. All that and I don't see much use for the legendary gear. Of course
Blitzed through Nightmare with this: and all I got was an Infrared Hat that detects Rock blocks in a 6 block radius and Attracts Crystal Ores in a 14m radius. Level 10, but not very exciting.
Interesting - I wondered if they were all the same. Mine was slightly different. Detects rock blocks in a 6 block radius and 50% more powerful dynamite (which happens to be my least favorite explosive).
The Infrared Hats are all a bit different. Mine is: Detect Rocks in 6 range (like everyone else) +100% Grenade Crates (yay my fav!) Edit: Forgot to mention, I used drelbs technique of crystal and metal frenzy + grenades.
It shows any metal/crystal ore. Very handy because it shows the explosive ones and when there's a long vein/chain of them so you can easily budget your hits.
The auto select makes crafting unwanted artifacts a lot lot quicker, and also hiding completed collections so you see what you need much quicker is a nice touch too. Can't wait to try legendary hit now it's been rebalanced. Thank you devs.
