    Thanks for the honest feedback.

To answer your question, there's always a chance of getting an artifact from any collection (not just the ones for the current mine) every time you collect an artifact in a mine.
So you can sometimes end up with an artifact from the ruby stash, or galore mines while playing other mines.

Save up 700K before you prestige the first time, then you'll be back over 200 instantly.

Same goes for further prestiges (but with more money ;))

I see the Legendary Hit is back, anyone feeling lucky?

    Ok, thank you.
I don't always play the galore mines as I don't always have the rubies so it's good to know I can the artifacts from general gameplay.

I'm lost regarding versions. What version update are we iOS users waiting for? I think you Android users have 1 version higher than ours (currently 1.5.0), but I'm not sure if we are 1 version below or 2 versions below...

I somehow didn't realize your question is so simple. My crate character digs up 35-50 artifacts each run, I haven't played any of the galore levels but have picked up artifacts from every level regardless (coal, metal, crystal, precious galore, ruby stash, plus islands I can't access like Lowlands, Creepy Forest, Observatory, etc, and of course the legendary sets slowly but surely).

I have paid zero dollars for this game and it continues to prove itself as one hell of a solid free game. I don't understand complaints about energy running out, I feel like I've played this game round the clock for weeks. I don't feel limited in any way. I've earned ~175 rubies via TapJoy; my wife hasn't and has a comparable play experience. Roofdog NAILED the balance and pace of this game in my opinion.

Artifact character, more than adequate (I won't be investing in the gold artifact card):
Edit: here's part of a typical dig with this build. think I pulled a legendary artifact 3 digs in a row. sometimes gets ten or more of the same artifact in a go.

To update this - I was apparently in a cranky mood when I posted this and my tone was a little bit harsh. To give credit where credit is due, the developer has contacted me via pm to attempt to sort this out.

Is there any point having those boots, as the card you have equipped guarantees the bonus artifact? I'm sure I remember it being said the percentages that do not have a + don't stack, so you wouldn't be able to drop a third artifact, so your prob better off having boots that increase crates or rarity. Reasonable question, maybe @devs can inform us? The 100% card doesn't seem to guarantee an artifcat in each crate.

I always get an artifact with that card, I'm sure I read crates don't always have an artifact in, and in those instances I get one artifact and ores, for crates that would have an artifact in, I always get two. So the crates that give me one artifacts and ores, that is the bonus artifact as there wasn't one in to begin with, and when I get two, it's the artifact that was already in, plus another.

I've just had a quick run and i def got at least one artifact with each crate. If it's possible to get three, I'm changing my gear lol.

    What he said ;)

    You're exactly right.

Also, I explained how "chance of" gear (which are separate "rolls") works in a previous post.
So, if you already have a 100% chance of bonus artifact, any extra "chance" gear is indeed unnecessary.

In the case of treasure (artifact) crates, how does this work out? Like, CrateRoll1=[%ore,%artifact]+CrateRoll2=[%bonusartifact+%bonusartifactgear+%bonusarifactcards] ? Such that every treasure crate has two rolls, one of which determines a bonus artifact drop/no drop and is affected by %bonusartifact gear and cards, while the initial roll for ore/ artifact is unaffected by the bonus? ie. in the case of bonus artifacts, the multiple items don't affect or generate multiple rolls?

    Pretty much.

Yeah, sorry, that last post was misleading / unclear.
For the bonus artifact, it's just a *does / does not* happen, so just a single roll, with its odds being the total of cards and gear affecting it.

So in this case, if you have a 100% card, any additional gear is pointless as 100% already guarantees a bonus artifact. You can't beat those odds :)

And yeah, nothing affects what you call CrateRoll1, to check if the crate initially has ore or an artifact in it.

    Hope this clarifies the confusion.

    EDIT:
This applies only for Bonus Artifact, most other cases use the logic explained in the "chance of" post.

How about the Aziz (chance to drop bonus in chest) or Knight Penny (rarer) characters with %RarerGear, %RarerCard and %BonusDrop items? Fascinating process behind the game.

    Labyrinth : Bad Design

Today the Labyrinth became available; it has a stupid stupid twist: You can easily maneuver yourself into a part which is shaped like a U with the walls invincible. To suceed you have to learn the layout or you will be captured very fast in place without exit. This contradicts everything this otherwise very well designed game has presented so far. On paper its maybe look like a good idea; but playing it sucks out all the fun.
