Just got this game today and I'm already loving it. It's such an improvement from Pocket Mine, and I just don't want to put my phone down and stop playing! If you don't have it, get it!
Is crystal galore worth playing or it's a Rip off? What can I expect to get there? Also, what makes me level up?
Crystal galore AFAIK is a mine where there are many crystal blocks, which should give you a lot of money easily. This is just my idea, since I've never spent a gem to play it. To level up you just have to keep on playing. From my experience until now, I've spent gems (in this order) in: - the characters I was interested in, specially Dan. - factories: I have 3. - half a dozen continues. - two VIP-card packs. I think that I've earned around 350-400 gems just by playing, completing friend list, etc. Obviously, gem income now is way slower, but on the plus side I already own the characters I wanted, some I don't really bother in, 3 factories, many maxed out cards and many gears. In the end, I've spent 5 euro in the energy increaser, but I've enjoyed a lot of play hours from this game. The best part is that I'm not getting bored at all. I want to complete all the collections and max out cards, which makes me come back to play it every time I can
Crates & Chests seem pretty random to me - it's the ores/metals/crystals that change as you go deeper. There are items that increase artifact rarity and/or increase chance/number of artifact drops from chests as well as a character, those help a lot when trying to complete sets.

I have crashes on my 4S when the friends load and their crates appear in the game. If the friends don't load (i.e. when I only see my score and I don't get friend crates during a game), then the game doesn't crash so much. It only happens on my 4S though. On my iPad 3 it works like charm. That's why I firmly believe crashes have to do with memory leaks or similar, combined with too many friends, due to the 4S having only 512MB RAM vs 1GB RAM of the iPad 3. EDIT: it also crashes a lot on the 4S when watching the ads.
Did you guys do the prestige upgrade? Resets pick but it can then go up to 210 instead of 200. If it resets, does it go back to being cheap for the first upgrades? Also I don't get the artifact salesman? We don't sell artifact??
If it's like the first Pocket Mine then yes, they start out cheaper, but it will cost a lot of cash to get it fully upgraded again. I'm sitting on $60,000 + with the option to prestige. I'm hesitant because I want to make sure I have enough $ to get it all the way leveled up again and not get stuck with a weak pick. The artifact salesman card works like this: as you pick up artifacts during a run, you are automatically awarded cash for them at the end of the run. The artifact salesman card just makes it so you get more $ than normal for said artifacts.
Jealous of the Gear I am seeing pics of, I've never rolled over 30% on anything, let alone 90 on the all-important ones. Going to have to start running for chests on purpose now, I keep hoping for rare-boosts before I spend keys but they're not coming Btw, I've been lazy today and just running crate radar + bonus crates + extra artifacts trying to collect everything - using energy to rebuy things
I think the best gear ever is the anubis gauntlets! 14% chance to drop precious ores + 70% more powerful grenades. Wow the ores just drop all the time with Dan!
You need much more than 60k to upgrade. If you click on prestige it will tell you the approximate amount you need and it will ask you if you're sure about it, but I think it was nearer 400k to fully re-upgrade. I did so and I'm on 208 hits atm.
Dan is the MAN! He's been my character of choice since the original. With the right setup he'll blast through that ore like butter. Good to know, thanks!
Anyone know the exact numbers for the prestige upgrades and Costa involved or is the game still to young? I'm currently on 1.4mil and wanted to see if I'd be able to do 2 full upgrades
