I will be playing Clash for Dawn instead. WjndWalk3r Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2015 305 5 18 #12 WjndWalk3r, Oct 30, 2015 This game control make me think is not support multi-touch of modern touchscreen devices. The game is good, but jumping make me rage a lot Jmartinez41 Member Sep 19, 2014 23 0 0 #13 Jmartinez41, Oct 30, 2015 I had a hard time with the controls at first too but I was able to fix my problem. In the control settings where you can move the buttons around you can change to joystick to float instead of staying fixed. That way it appears wherever you place your finger. After that I felt like I actually had control. Hope it helps BobbyBuckets Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2015 64 0 0 #14 BobbyBuckets, Oct 30, 2015 Used to be addicted to this game on PC, excited to try this out. sakuraarts Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2015 59 0 0 #15 sakuraarts, Oct 30, 2015 Unfortunately controls is the issue with this one, but can be fixed with auto combat.. But then it becomes kind of boring to watch while playing Everything about it is great and near or exact like the maplestory layout Iap are back however this one is kinder by giving you free candies here and there fearlesskk Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2014 133 0 0 #16 fearlesskk, Oct 30, 2015 Thank god this is finally out Nycteris Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2012 86 0 0 #17 Nycteris, Oct 31, 2015 I had an old Maple Story Thief game once but it has vanished from the store. Anyone remember that one? manga Member May 2, 2014 20 0 0 #18 manga, Oct 31, 2015 Movement is terrible BTNLegend Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2012 148 0 16 Canada #19 BTNLegend, Nov 2, 2015 The Korean version of this game is better. It has better controls and it even allows you to double tap the down button to jump down from platforms unlike this one. The global version is also far behind in terms of class variety. The Korean version has way more. It'll probably take a while for the global version to get at least three more classes. This is pretty much an enhanced version of MapleStory Live, although the stories are still for the most part the same. It's pretty cheap on Nexon's part for releasing MapleStory: Thief Edition, MapleStory: Cygnus Knights Edition and MapleStory Live in subsequent order, only for them to pull them all from the App store. They didn't even bother to update Cygnus Knights Edition to work with iOS 8 and 9. They also pulled a cheap move with MapleStory Live where accounts would be forever lost if you deleted the app from your device. It was stupid. They later discontinued the servers so that you couldn't even upload your save and then download your save onto a different device. I had a high level Angelic Buster. What a waste of time and money. I don't really trust Nexon anymore because of that and while I still play Pocket MapleStory, because I have a certain nostalgic attachment to the PC version, I'm not gonna really bother to invest as much time. raqk Member Mar 15, 2015 18 0 0 #20 raqk, Nov 10, 2015 Well I've played thief, Cygnus Knights, and live, and Personally I've enjoyed all of them. Never really gotten far into the desktop version, though. I remember spending countless hours... The stories aren't really that great and I skip most of the dialogue, so I can only handle so much grinding. The main reason I stuck with live at all was because the online functionality, In fact I still have all three of the games and two of my older devices, so I never really cared much for live. I think some of the new features that come with pocket are neat, however I can't stand doing the exact same things over again, grinding the exact same monsters, especially not using dual blader. Also, the auto battle makes me a little disappointed. No longer is any skill required at all. Having a high level and fancy stats is no longer anything special, I don't feel excited playing Maplestory anymore. Sure I'll still be playing a little, but not nearly as much.
