That's probably the case then. BTW..I dunno if already reported, but we noticed something strange today (on quest 6 and on quest 3). I healed a teamate because, according to his stats, he had low health...he said to me: why you healed me? I was full health. Another thing...If I press resync after I took a turn and fought a monster, I return to the turn start but the monster do not get his HP back.
I thought of something just now. It would be nice to be able to mark places on the map with a message. Something like "paladin go here" or "mechie kill this" or even "pack horse grab this item". It would allow communication between players without the need to describe the exact action you want others to take.
With random games, it should be match you with players in your time zone and also an option to choose the number of players you wish to adventure with
I just finished playing through a two-player game. We managed to handle the final bad guy without too much problem. The baddies on the next-to-last level hurt us more than the last one. I was satisfied with the game as a whole, but there certainly are bugs to be fixed and improvements that can be made.
I didn't personally but in the chat one of the other players did write "how did we perish?", so I'm guessing that one of us did, I just thought they meant how are we back at the start...
Okay, that is the bug that I'm expecting to be fixed in the update. We're finishing up the testing and I'm planning to submit it this evening. Thanks!
4 stagnant games that haven't had a move in over 3 days. Need an option to disband. In other news, I'm in another 2 games and back to killing wolves.
Thanks for playing! I can definitely play with the difficulty of the final stage, it's a difficult thing to balance.
I have 43 games going at the moment. About half appear to be stagnant or extremely slow moving, but the rest keep me busy with plenty of turns coming in through out the day. Just start a load of games and suddenly you will have a handful of active ones. I had hardly any GC friends before this and now I have loads, mainly from the other thread !
Just finished the main game with two of us, my thesis may have suffered but I througly enjoy my time in this game and can't wait for part two. Those on the fence that have a bit of patiences I thoroughly recommend it. Can't wait to get a bigger party through it now. As a suggestion maybe death rather than having a financial consequence (or maybe if one does not wish to pay or lacks the funds , albeit when that is fixed) returning the hero to the start of the dungeon may make the more exuberant players think twice before charging in. I would be in favour of permanent death (ala D & D) but I am not sure how that would work in such a co op game. On a side not , I agree the final boss was a bit too easy, he could do with a buff. Great stuff !
hey guys, why nobody makes your move? i'm still waiting from yesterday and have more than ten games in progress... there's a problem with servers or what?
Haha, well we were able to get a sound into the notifications ( it's the Picking up gold sound ) so you may want to mute your phone at work or there is no telling what they will think about you next.
It's not the server's fault. It's just the nature of asynchronous games: you have to wait until it's convenient for the other party to make a move, assume they make one at all. A danger of 99cent gaming is that it's pretty easy to decide that a game doesn't jive with you and to simply stop playing it, and with the current build, any party member leaving calls it quits for the entire campaign.
but all my friends have played their turn regularly until 40 hours ago approximately, so it sounds me like a kind of problem in the servers or game itself. or are all dead???
Lol! You must be joking. Any app that requires servicing 43 concurrent versions of the same linear adventure, just to reach some semblance of "enjoyable" play, needs a major rethink.
You don't need 43 adventures running, you just need 1 game running with people you actually know, which is the hard part.
