Each device remember ITS last turn. Another suggestion: when switching, log out and press play (and log in) first thing: so you'll receive notifications properly. At least in my case, I receive notifications on the last logged in device. Fortunately it takes 2 seconds because it's damn fast.
Is there a limit to the amount of games you can play? I have at least 20 right now. What happens if a player decides to stop playing? Is it just over then? Some rings and necklaces have no stats, what do they do? I was able to pay to revive myself even though I didn't have enough money.
Watch out, I noticed some necklaces and rings, especially (but not all) the ones with elaborate descriptions alterate your stats even when they do not say anything. Especially secondary stats (accuracy, criticals...). I even screenshotted stats with various pendants (equipped and not) just to be sure I do not want to spoil anything in later quests....but...OMG
Pitta!! Thank you for this tip!!! I will keep an eye out. I did not know this and have been selling jewelry like a freakin Zales employee.
LOL me too!!! I noticed it by chance, after like 10 games. Found a Necklace which description: The gem is warm to the touch. So I investigated even the 'normal' ones....some are really normal...some are not. That's why I asked if we can fully identify objects (BTW I love that is vague and not precise...if it was me I would banish the +X writings from RPGs).
It's funny, for all of it rough edges, this little game is pretty cool and gets many things right. Currently my favorite. I like how quick it is to take a turn.
Ok got a question about quest difficulty. Finally one of my games has made it to quest 2 and it is a game with a 2 person party. Now I thought that quests are supposed to scale to the size of the party in terms of difficulty, yet I see up ahead of us a cluster of SEVEN enemies all lumped together, does this not seem a bit difficult for a 2 person game?
As already said, be careful, work with your teammate, check your MP and use healing. If you have it, use ranged weapons too. I'm on Quest 5 with a 2-people party (Paladin and Mechie). It's my most advanced game (I'm playing several other) and, so far, we never died (got close several times tough). On quest 4 there is a bug (already reported) where the chests give infinite objects and we decided not to take advantage of it (dropped everything). Belive me, you will see much more dangerous situations (and find much more powerful items) but it is really worth it; it's freaking epic. As a matter of fact, I suggested the dev to increase difficulty of a particular encounter Encounters do scale tough not in number, but in strength and accuracy (I noticed much less misses with a 4-players party which IMHO gives the real full experience, loot fights included ) The game is IMHO absolutely fantastic, later on there is much more environmental interactivity. If they polish it a bit more and wipe out the bugs (I'm sure they will), and they will add new content (quests and campaigns) it will never leave my iPhone. EVER. If they add an editor, my wife will kill me.
Editor=divorce for sure. But this can wait until we have more tools to work with. I can see adding traps, NPCs, puzzles, hirelings, familiars, environmental changes such as day/night cycle, crafting, triggers (NWN had these).
I won't spoil anything, but you will find some if those later in the game Surprised me too (in a good way).
Anyone want to play right now semi live? None of my games are going at all. Add me ETBox. Im jonesin to play!
Wow! This thread contains some of the most blatant shilling I've ever seen! It's as embarrassing as it is annoying.
I'm down for a new game. Just started one today, and I'm hooked. My GC ID is Inky The Ghost. Maybe we can find more folks here: http://http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=144228&page=13
