I've been playing the rogue and it's pretty hard to keep my health up. Any tips, or are people having the same problem? I feel retarded dying on the first level.
Shoot from far away, and keep moving back so they can't get near you - that's what I've been doing, anyway!
You have a bow to start, so always 'shoot', never 'attack' (even adjacent enemies). On some turns, after you shoot you can back out of range of the enemy. Once you get to the middle, let your allies take the front and snipe from behind them. I've never died going in (or come close), but if you are about to die then get back out of range of whatever you're fighting and don't move on to engage the next enemy - you move far enough that if you just run, the enemy won't be able to hit you. Experience is shared to some degree (I dunno if it's evenly split or favors the killer), but if you can just survive, your allies will level you up, refilling your health and letting you continue.
Does anyone know if you ever get more AP? I've only got 8 and I'm just wondering if levelling up will net me some more.
Okay I am having an issue with the game that is frustrating me quite a bit..Got lots of questions so I'll break them down by numbers. 1) When inviting someone to play via e-mail of my contacts, does that send them an e-mail to their inbox telling them I've invited them to come play or some nonsense? Or am I just selecting them to have a playable character with me in the game? 2) After starting a game with a random e-mail from one of my contacts I've selected do I have to wait for that contact to make a move before the game can continue? 3) Why isn't there a solo mode? 4) I believe my game is bugged. I clicked play, I chose my character a Paladin I selected an e-mail of a random person on my contacts to play with. The game started and I killed a wolf and ended my turn, it now says it's waiting for my turn. However NOTHING happens, what the hell? Another wolf spawned I click on it nothing happens. I try to click my character to move and nothing happens. So I now have two games stuck like this and no idea how to delete them from my games list..
Well damn I guess I'll be forced to make friends then lol. Thanks for the input, also could you tell me how I could delete games? I have 2 games currently 'frozen' or 'stuck' cause I invited a random person who will never be able to play and they are both on "waiting". I've deleted the app and re-installed it but that did nothing. Also about the previous poster saying there's a bug with the music, I can vouch for that. I've turned off game music and it continued to play, very annoying I hop there is a patch for that soon.
Bug: if you try to scroll past the bottom of the credits page you get a white bg instead of the same bg as the rest.
I don't use gamecenter. I don't have any gamecenter friends. I don't want to come here just to add people to play with. Add random game option, and then I'll play. Until then, this game is shelved.
For now they can't be deleted - just leave them be, they'll add that in the future. Happily they'll stay at the bottom of your list.
lol, so let me get this straight. you HAVE to play this game with other people via asynchronous multiplayer?? an entire fricking RPG that way? that seems tedious beyond belief. why are people hyping up such a flawed design?? edit: I just realized TouchArcade has been hyping this crap for weeks, too, and never even mentioned this issue. Between this and some of their 4 star reviews for complete junk, TA is beginning to lose it's lustre.
