The hurricane is great, this is what I wanted, or a tsunami. The app is great, I think it would be more sustainable with some game play. I sometimes keep flicking and loading pygmies when the lavas flowing. You could have some game play around how many you can drown or melt while some other force is against you. Anyway, it's been fun and the regular updates have been greatly appreciated. No other app I have does that.
It's gotta be fishing. There was a lot of fishing in the new testiment and there are fish on the back of cars. No tsunamis in the new testiment. Noah's ark was in the old testiment. I even saw a screenshot of a pygmi fishing somewhere on this website last week. Allthogh, a new testiment item I wouldn't mind seeing would be a stoning. Pick one pygmi to be the victim and all the others pick up stones and hit him till he falls in the water or something funny.
That's the old testament in Genesis... Probably fishing cause of it being in the new testemte and the miracles with fish (there were about 3 of them) and they are on back of cars,
Dave, Are female pygmies and kid pygmies still on your horizon? I hope so because it would add to the game. I'm also happy that you will incorporate actual gameplay into Pocket God. It's cute for a few minutes but I would like to do something with PG.
I find this the very interesting bit at the moment. All devs have been following some apps that have been groundbreaking in terms of sales performance and strategy. And no doubt everybody is currently watching what Pocketgod has done, is doing, and will do in the weeks and months to come. At $0.99, will there be a moment when the appstore potential of PG will be "exhausted"? Or will re-inventing the app through gameplay type features generate a second phase in sales? Will the hype die down or will extended replayability (as vs weekly novelty) allow Pg to settle in the top 10 for a long time like Touchgrind? How long can PG survive at or near the top on the weekly novelty factor alone? No doubt many indie devs will be trying to emulate this. Because it looks like the big devs just want to charge a max with brand and established games (see MGST), and preferably through a premium ($19.99) appstore. I find it amazing that the iphod as a platform has so far been so revolutionary and groundbreaking (thanks to the device, the appstore, the possibility of unlimited updates and the creative genius of a few indie devs), yet the big guns/devs only seem to be willing to play it on the same model as the existing platforms (ports from existing games at premium price). All i wanted to say is I think the next update is fishy, and thanks to Dave and Allan for keeping us wanting and guessing week in week out for a mere $0.99!
I thought they were all female, they tie their hair up and all wear skirts, one is even so vain as to file her teeth! what more do you want Candy?
So I was thinking.. What if dave and allan died like in a car crash tommorow? what would happen to PG?!?! Now I'm afraid....
i'm sorry if it will offend you but, even theoretically speaking, i find that line of thinking kind of morbid and should not be encouraged.
Talking of making PG have more of a gameplay element... how about combining this with each new feature release, in a minigame format... For example, a new feature might be that the island springs a leak... and will sink... but if you drop an islander on the hole, he 'corks' it up... until another leak springs... and after a few seconds, a corked islander pulls himself free and wanders off, releasing the leak again etc... Regularly released minigames such as this would give the game much more longevity for sure... Cheers, Jamie.
Why dont they make a pocket god mario/bounceon game where you have to jump over the cocnuts or jump over shark collections stars or something along thoise lines
wow those figures are amazing any chance of them being shipped to england if you do sell them ? >_> pocket god really does just keep getting better and better cant wait for the next update exspecially if it adds minigames
I've got it make a mario style game with pygmies instead of collecting stars you collect coconuts also for enemies like koopa troopa you could have the bat the volcano and the shark and boulder it would work consiider it
First they parodied iDracula, now Flick Fishing (in a way)! By the way, the tree having different kinds of fruit would be awesome.
Yeah LOL but bounce on was made which is similar to mario so if you don't use the copyrighted names I'm sure u would be allowed I would pay an extra 59p for it aswell.
